1. Suri Incentive kick off
The first phase of the Suri Incentive – the pension scheme for housewives has kick started on Aug 15. Those housewife who are not working is eligible for this. But for this phase 1, the target eligible recipient are those who are in the e-Kasih database which includes single mother, widows and woman from low income families. Under the Suri Incentive, the e-Kasih beneficiaries will need to deposit a minimum of RM5 monthly into their EPF account and upon that the Government will pay a contribution of RM40.
2. Unifi Upgrade
Telekom is providing FREE unifi speed upgrade for all it’s existing customer for Existing Unifi Internet speeds up to 800Mbps. The existing Unifi subscribers will enjoy the following speed upgrades in stages starting 15 August 2018:
- 10Mbps to 100Mbps
- 30Mbps to 300Mbps
- 50Mbps to 500Mbps
- 100Mbps to 800Mbps
In order for the increase speed to take effect, the customer would just need to ensure that they restart their modem so that the new speed can take efficient.
3. BSHR (Bantuan Sara Hidup Rakyat)
Bantuan Sara Hidup Rakyat Third Phase has started the distribution to those eligible on the 15th August. For those who have applied and are eligible will receive a direct bank transfer of RM400 to their account. This program is eligible to those household income of recipient must be lower than RM 3,000 then you will be eligible for RM400 and if you’re range is between RM3,001 to RM4,000 then you will receive RM300.
4. Samsung Note 9 Official Release
For those who are long awaiting for Samsung Note 9, you need to wait no longer. The Samsung Note 9 is officially launched on 15th August. The Samsung Note 9 comes with 2 versions – 128GB which priced at RM3699 and 512GB which is priced at RM4599.
