39-Year-Old Man Invites A Woman Out for Dinner and Rob Her afterwards
The Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal told Harian Metro that a man who was recently arrested for robbing a woman in Petaling Jaya after he asked her out for a dinner, as the suspect is the 39 year old and the incident took place around 5.45pm on Monday, 15 February.
After received a report of the crime, the team of officers raided the suspect’s home at Taman Impian Ehsan in Seri Kembangan and arrested him him around 11.10pm last night, 16 February. The suspect has stole the victim’s gold bracelet before leaving her in front of a convenience store in Section 13 and Nik Ezanee explaned that he had took her out for dinner and then forced her to hand over her bracelet along Jalan 17/1 and he admitted that he has sold the bracelet to another man in Kuala Lumpur for Rm2,900.
“Police also confiscated a Perodua Bezza used by the suspect during the robbery, two handphones, RM2,900 in cash from selling the bracelet, and a watch.” He is remanded for three days under Section 392 of the Penal Code
