310 Gets Fined RM1,000 Each After Breaching SOP and Partying at Mutiara Damansara Club
Around 310 people were compounded RM1,000 after they were all caught partying at the Club in Jalan PJU 7/3 Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya on the morning of the 26th of July. This included 11 women and 200 men where the most number are foreign workers.
The district police chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said these individuals had flouted the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) were also clubs, bars and pubs are still not allowed to open during this period while another outlet like karaoke halls and arcades can be reopened on 15th July. During the raid, 10 officers and 19 personnel from the district headquarters raided three premises in Mutiara Damansara.
During the raid, the police seized electronic devices such as a microphone, amplifier, turntable, and cash about RM9,000. Other than this, there are also 67 roadblocks were set up and 34,224 vehicles were inspected to curb the entry of illegal immigrants using rat lanes. He said that PDRM had arrested a foreigner during the inspection.
