Here is the 3 New Policies from TM That You Need To Know which taking place in August 2018
1. TM Needs 30 Days Notice in Advance for Termination
There is a new termination policy was published on Unifi’s official website via a pop-up message. It has stated that customers who intend to terminate their service must now provide 30 days notice prior to termination. You can inform them through communication channels via unifi.com.my, live chat at unifi.com.my/chat, their social channels on Facebook and Twitter, or by email to help@tm.com.my. After the 30 days notice, customers are still required to go to their nearest TMpoint to complete the termination process.
Quite fair for the termination notice if you ask us cause TM also need notice period
2. Free Upgrade of Network
This is an exciting month for those who are with TM as Unifi/Streamyx users will be getting the upgraded speed (10x) for FREE starting from 15th August onwards. All the Unifi/Streamyx who are eligible for this upgrade will be notified through email. So make sure you check your mailbox to ensure that you are qualified for this upgrade.
Time to go to light speed!!!
3. The New Basic Plan
This plan only costs RM79/month and comes with 30Mbps paired with 60GB quota. This new basic plan is eligible for the lower income people where their household earnings under RM4,500. If you’re eligible, you’re required to produce supporting documents such as a verified salary slip, documents verified by local authorities, or a copy of your BR1M acceptance letter.
Good news is that the plan will be available from 1 August 2018 onwards.
