1800 People Returns From Oversea under Home Quarantine Didn’t Take Second Covid-19 Test
The Health Director-General Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah mentioned that about 10% of those returning individuals from overseas did go for the 2nd COVID-19 test towards the end of their quarantine period. The total of the person under Surveillance (PUS) which needs to go for the Home Surveillance Order (HSO) was 31,674 in total.
Due to this, 1,800 returnees who were given a pink wristband have skipped their second Covid-19 test which is not clean if they are clear from the coronavirus. Which there is a rise of news regarding these individuals being caught outside of the home. Meanwhile, the database provided by the MySejahtera app are no longer adhere to SOPS as strictly as they did in the past.
Therefore, the premise owner or the public is reminded to continue observing the SOPS ensure we can break the Covid-19 chain and not going to force the MCO to come back again with a full lockdown.
