16 yo Girl Attempt Suicide and Attempt To Jump Off From Bentong Bridge Due to Depression Issue
Recently, we have been received news of people attempting suicide, which mostly is due to the current pandemic and having depression is a serious matter. Recently a 16-year-old girl tries to jump off a bridge at the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway nearby the Berjaya Hills Bukit Tinggi Exit on 16 March, which she claim that she is facing depressing after her dad kept her mobile phone from her and she felt even more depressed.
THe police and fire department rushed to the scene and according to Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said that they received the call at 2.12 pm, the team rushed to the location and the girl was sitting at the edge of the bridge while police tried to persuade her and firefighter helped out by placing a net under the bridge. Later, Bukit Tinggi Police Station Chief Sergeant Major Maznan Omar managed to come close to the victim from the back and pulled her down from the bridge.
