According to Reuters, Trump mentioned the coronavirus relief bill did not provide enough support for small business as he believes the stipulated US$600 stimulus for each American is too low and demanded that citizen receives US$2,000 instead.

The US$892 billion actually includes the extension of 2 programs which will support self-employed workers and long term unemployed until mid March next year but Trump rejected the bill because he felt Americans were receiving enough financial support and currently because of this they are getting nothing at all.

As currently, if it continues onwards, it will leave some Americans homeless soon and landlords can evict tenants who can’t afford to pay rents. The estimation of around 40 million people could face eviction over the next several months according to the research from the Aspen Institute.

On Wednesday, 23 December, Trump has voted a US$740 billion defense bill to fund the military for 2021 and the bill has passed every year in the US since 1961, which this bill includes the pay raise for America’s soldier and modernization of the equipment and other stuff.
