Jaya Grocer Lobster Week Promotion 2026: Get a FREE Cooler Bag and Lobster with Your Shopping

Looking for a shopping promotion that offers something a little more special than the usual grocery discounts? Jaya Grocer is giving shoppers in Malaysia an exciting reason to stock up on their favourite groceries this October with its Lobster Week Promotion 2026. From 17 to 31 October 2026, shoppers at selected outlets can enjoy exclusive Gift with Purchase rewards, including a free cooler bag and a lobster when they meet the qualifying minimum spend.

This promotion is particularly interesting for households that regularly shop for groceries, enjoy preparing seafood at home or are planning a special meal with family and friends. Instead of simply buying groceries for the week, shoppers can make their purchases count towards a reward that adds something extra to their shopping experience.

The offer is available at Jaya Grocer Signature, KLGCC Mall, and Jaya Grocer, Pearl Point. If either outlet is convenient for your usual shopping trip, this could be a good opportunity to combine your regular grocery purchases with a limited-time promotional reward.

Before heading out, however, it is worth understanding the qualifying spending amounts, the gifts available and the promotion’s terms and conditions.

Get a FREE Cooler Bag and Frozen Lobster with RM500 Spend

The first reward is suitable for shoppers who can meet a minimum spend of RM500 on eligible in-store purchases.

Spend RM500 at a participating Jaya Grocer outlet during the promotional period and receive a free cooler bag together with one frozen lobster, subject to the promotion’s terms and the availability of gifts.

For shoppers who already have a substantial grocery list, reaching RM500 may be manageable, particularly when purchasing a combination of household essentials, fresh ingredients, pantry staples, beverages and other everyday items. Families buying groceries for several people or households preparing for a gathering may find this option worth considering.

The frozen lobster is an appealing extra for anyone who enjoys seafood. It could be used as the centrepiece of a special home-cooked meal, saved for a weekend dinner or prepared when relatives and friends come over. Rather than making a separate purchase for the seafood treat, eligible shoppers can receive it as a promotional gift when they meet the minimum spend.

The accompanying cooler bag is another practical bonus. It can be useful for carrying chilled groceries and other items that need to be kept cool during the journey home. It may also come in handy for selected outdoor activities or shopping trips, depending on its size and intended use.

For shoppers who are already planning to spend around RM500 on groceries, this reward offers an additional reason to visit a participating outlet during Lobster Week.

Spend RM800 to Receive a FREE Cooler Bag and Live Lobster

Want something even more special? Shoppers who spend RM800 on eligible in-store purchases can receive a free cooler bag and one live lobster.

This is the higher-tier reward in the promotion, making it an option for households with larger shopping requirements or those planning a bigger grocery run. If you regularly purchase premium ingredients, stock up on household essentials or shop for an upcoming family celebration, you may find this reward worth exploring.

A live lobster can make a memorable addition to a seafood dinner. It offers an opportunity to prepare something different at home, whether you are planning a special weekend meal or looking to impress guests with a seafood-inspired menu. However, shoppers should make sure they are comfortable handling and preparing live seafood before choosing this reward.

The RM800 minimum spend is higher than the RM500 tier, so it is important to plan your purchases sensibly. The additional spending required to move from RM500 to RM800 is RM300. Before aiming for the higher-tier gift, consider whether you genuinely need the extra groceries or can comfortably accommodate the purchase within your normal household budget.

There is little benefit in buying unnecessary items simply to qualify for a free gift. A better approach is to prepare a shopping list, include the essentials you already intended to purchase and check whether your planned spending naturally reaches the qualifying amount.

If your shopping total already meets the RM800 threshold, the live lobster and cooler bag could be an attractive extra.

Which Jaya Grocer Outlets Are Participating?

The Lobster Week Promotion is available at two selected locations in Malaysia.

The first is Jaya Grocer Signature at KLGCC Mall. Shoppers who live nearby or regularly visit the mall can consider including the promotion in their next grocery trip. It may be particularly convenient for those who prefer to complete their shopping and other errands in one location.

The second participating outlet is Jaya Grocer at Pearl Point. If this branch is closer to your home or workplace, it provides another opportunity to enjoy the offer without travelling unnecessarily far.

Do remember that this is a selected-outlet promotion rather than a confirmed nationwide offer. If you normally shop at a different Jaya Grocer branch, check the promotion details before making a special trip. It is also sensible to confirm gift availability with the outlet, as the free gifts are offered while stocks last.

Earn GrabCoins When You Pay In-Store

There is another reason for eligible Jaya Grocer members to pay attention to this campaign. The promotion announcement states that members can earn GrabCoins when paying in-store using cash, a debit or credit card, or GrabPay.

This provides an additional benefit for shoppers who are eligible for the rewards under the applicable membership and programme terms. If you are already a Jaya Grocer member, it is worth checking that your membership is recognised during checkout and confirming how GrabCoins are credited for your transaction.

The announcement specifies that this benefit is exclusively for Jaya Grocer members. Shoppers should check the relevant terms and conditions to understand any applicable requirements or restrictions.

Although rewards are a welcome extra, it is still wise to compare your shopping needs with your budget. Focus on purchasing products you actually use, then enjoy any qualifying benefits that come with your transaction.

Why Should You Visit Jaya Grocer During Lobster Week?

One of the main attractions of this promotion is the combination of everyday grocery shopping and a premium seafood gift. Rather than offering only a discount on a particular product, Jaya Grocer is giving eligible shoppers an opportunity to receive an additional item when they reach a qualifying spending threshold.

For seafood lovers, the lobster could be the biggest attraction. It offers a chance to plan a special meal at home without purchasing the lobster separately, provided you meet the relevant requirements and the gift is available.

The cooler bag is another useful addition, particularly for people who regularly purchase chilled or frozen groceries. Together, the gifts can make an ordinary shopping trip feel a little more rewarding.

The campaign also gives families an opportunity to plan their grocery purchases around an upcoming gathering. If you are preparing for a birthday dinner, a family weekend meal or a get-together with friends, you may already have a longer shopping list than usual. Checking whether your planned purchases qualify could help you make the most of the promotion.

However, the key is to shop strategically. Do not increase your spending unnecessarily just to receive a free lobster. Compare the RM500 and RM800 tiers with your actual shopping requirements, remember that alcohol and cigarettes do not count towards the minimum spend, and confirm the applicable conditions before paying.

Important Things to Know Before Shopping

Jaya Grocer’s Lobster Week Promotion runs from 17 to 31 October 2026, giving shoppers a limited period to take advantage of the offer.

The RM500 reward consists of a free cooler bag and one frozen lobster, while the RM800 reward consists of a free cooler bag and one live lobster. Both rewards are subject to the promotion’s terms and gift availability.

The minimum spend excludes alcohol and cigarettes. This means these purchases cannot be counted towards the qualifying spending threshold. Make sure your eligible items reach the required amount before completing your transaction.

Free gifts are available while stocks last, so qualifying for the promotion does not necessarily mean that every gift will remain available throughout the entire campaign. Visiting earlier in the promotional period may be worth considering, although gift availability cannot be guaranteed.

The promotion applies to selected outlets only: Jaya Grocer Signature at KLGCC Mall and Jaya Grocer at Pearl Point. Terms and conditions apply, and shoppers should consult the official announcement or participating outlet for any additional requirements.

Make Your Grocery Shopping More Rewarding This October

Jaya Grocer’s Lobster Week Promotion is worth a look if you are planning a substantial grocery shop between 17 and 31 October 2026. With a free cooler bag and either a frozen or live lobster available at the respective spending tiers, the campaign offers something different for shoppers who enjoy seafood and appreciate useful shopping rewards.

The best way to enjoy this deal is to plan ahead, choose the participating outlet that suits you and work out your grocery budget before leaving home. If your regular shopping naturally reaches RM500 or RM800, the additional gifts could make the trip more worthwhile.

Remember to check the terms and conditions, confirm gift availability and ensure that your spending meets the eligible minimum after excluded purchases are taken into account.

If you are near KLGCC Mall or Pearl Point, consider stopping by a participating Jaya Grocer outlet during the campaign. With the promotion available for a limited time, it could be a good opportunity to pick up your usual groceries and bring home an extra treat for your next seafood meal.
