However, one of the biggest highlights worth looking forward to is the spectacular fireworks display scheduled for 8 November 2026 (Sunday). Both participating theme parks will host their own fireworks celebrations, giving visitors another exciting reason to plan their visit.
Even better, promotional materials are advertising FREE ENTRY FOR MEMBERS, making this an especially attractive opportunity for eligible Sunway Theme Parks members.
Here is everything visitors should know before planning their Deepavali celebration.
Deepavali in Bloom 2026: Let Prosperity Bloom This Deepavali
Deepavali is a meaningful celebration associated with the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. It is also a wonderful occasion for families and friends to come together, enjoy delicious food, exchange greetings and create happy memories.
For 2026, Sunway Theme Parks is embracing the festive spirit with its Deepavali in Bloom celebration.
Running from 2–10 November 2026, the event will bring festive touches to two of Malaysia’s popular theme park destinations. Visitors can expect colourful decorations, festive displays and opportunities to enjoy the attractions while soaking up the celebratory atmosphere.
The theme, Let Prosperity Bloom This Deepavali, reflects the spirit of happiness, positivity and prosperity associated with the Festival of Lights.

The main participating destinations are:
-
Sunway Lagoon, Bandar Sunway, Selangor.
-
Sunway Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh, Perak.
Whether visitors are based around Kuala Lumpur or travelling within Perak, there is an opportunity to enjoy the celebration at a convenient location.
