Looking for a delicious hot pot meal to enjoy with a friend after a workout, a game of badminton or simply a busy day out? Haidilao Malaysia has introduced its new Light & Energising Set for RM108 for two people, giving hot pot lovers another option for sharing a satisfying meal without having to order every dish separately.
Starting from 27 October 2026 onwards, this set brings together a selection of broths, meat and seafood dishes, vegetables and additional fixed items, making it an appealing choice for friends, couples and anyone who enjoys gathering around a bubbling hot pot.
Whether the plan is to play sports first or head straight to the restaurant for a comforting meal, this promotion offers a convenient way to enjoy Haidilao’s hot pot experience with a companion. The set is available across Malaysia, making it worth considering for diners who want to enjoy a shared meal while keeping an eye on their spending.
Haidilao Malaysia Light & Energising Set: A Hot Pot Meal for Two
Haidilao is a familiar name among hot pot enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy cooking their chosen ingredients in a pot of simmering broth at the table. The experience is about more than just eating. It allows everyone to take their time, cook ingredients to their preferred doneness and enjoy a meal at a relaxed pace.
With the introduction of the Light & Energising Set, diners have another way to enjoy this experience without needing to select every item individually.
Priced at RM108 for two people, the set includes two broths, three meat or seafood dishes, four vegetable dishes and three fixed items. This combination gives diners several components to enjoy throughout the meal, with a mix of ingredients that can suit different tastes.
For friends who regularly meet up for meals, couples looking for a casual dining option or workout buddies who want to catch up after exercising, the set provides a straightforward option to consider.
What Is Included in the RM108 Set?
One of the main attractions of this promotion is the variety included in the package. Instead of focusing on just one type of ingredient, the Light & Energising Set brings together several parts of the hot pot experience.
Two broths to choose from
The set allows diners to choose two broths, giving both people an opportunity to enjoy different flavours during the same meal. Broth selection is an important part of hot pot dining because it influences the overall taste of the ingredients cooked in the pot.
If dining with someone who prefers a different flavour, having two broths can make the experience more enjoyable. Diners can check with the restaurant about the available broth choices and whether any additional charges apply to particular selections.
Three meat or seafood dishes
Meat and seafood are popular choices for hot pot because they cook quickly in simmering broth and absorb the flavours of the soup. The set includes three meat or seafood dishes, offering diners an opportunity to enjoy these ingredients as part of their meal.
The exact selections should be confirmed with the restaurant, as the available options may depend on the menu and applicable promotion terms.
Four vegetable dishes
Vegetables provide another element of variety, adding different textures and flavours to the hot pot. With four vegetable dishes included, diners can complement their chosen meat or seafood with a selection of vegetables.
This is particularly appealing for those who prefer a mixture of ingredients rather than a meal centred entirely on meat. However, the set’s name does not necessarily mean that it is a low-calorie meal or that it meets specific dietary requirements, so diners with particular nutritional needs should check the ingredients and portions before ordering.
Three fixed items
The package also includes three fixed items, adding further variety to the overall dining experience. The original promotion does not specify the individual items, so it is best to ask the restaurant for the complete set menu before visiting.
Taken together, the two broths, three meat or seafood dishes, four vegetable dishes and three fixed items give diners several components to enjoy for RM108 for two.
Why Is This Promotion Worth Considering?
Hot pot meals can become expensive when diners order multiple dishes individually, especially when sharing a table with friends or family. A set meal provides a useful starting point for planning the cost of dining out.
At RM108 for two people, the Light & Energising Set works out to RM54 per person, before any applicable taxes, service charges or additional orders. This makes it easier for diners to estimate their spending before heading to the restaurant.
For anyone who enjoys hot pot regularly, having a set menu to consider can also simplify the ordering process. Rather than spending too much time deciding which dishes to add, diners can begin with the items included in the package and decide whether they need anything extra.
The value will depend on individual appetites, preferred ingredients and the restaurant’s applicable terms. Nevertheless, the combination of broths, meat or seafood, vegetables and fixed items gives diners a convenient option for sharing a meal.
A Good Excuse to Catch Up with Your Workout Buddy
The promotion’s playful message encourages diners to tag their workout buddies and enjoy hot pot after playing sports. It is an easy idea to turn an ordinary day into a more enjoyable outing.
Perhaps both of you have just finished a badminton session, spent the afternoon at the gym or enjoyed a friendly game with colleagues. Instead of heading home immediately, why not arrange a meal together and spend some time catching up?
Of course, there is no need to exercise first to enjoy this promotion. It can also be a good option for friends who want to meet after work, couples planning a casual meal or family members looking for somewhere to share dinner.
Hot pot naturally encourages conversation because everyone can participate in cooking the ingredients and choosing what to eat next. Unlike a quick meal where everyone finishes at different times, a shared hot pot experience allows diners to sit together, relax and enjoy each other’s company.
The Light & Energising Set could therefore be a practical choice for a casual gathering without requiring a large group or a special occasion.
Enjoy a Shared Meal Without Overcomplicating Your Plans
Another reason to consider this promotion is its simplicity. With a set designed for two people, it is particularly convenient for smaller dining groups who want to enjoy a variety of ingredients without planning an elaborate order.
Couples can use it for an informal date, friends can catch up over lunch or dinner, and colleagues can make it part of their after-work plans. It is also an option for anyone who enjoys discovering different combinations of broth, vegetables and protein during a hot pot meal.
If you are planning to visit during a busy period, it is sensible to check the availability of the set at your preferred Haidilao outlet before making the trip. Confirming the menu and any applicable conditions in advance can help avoid disappointment.
Diners should also remember that drinks, extra dishes and other optional additions may increase the final bill. Those who want to stick closely to a budget can begin with the promotional set and review the menu before ordering anything extra.
