Terms and conditions
- This Promotion will be held from 28th January 2019 to 17th February 2019, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
- This Promotion is organised by WeChat Pay Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“WeChat Pay MY”) and is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Chinese New Year Coupon Giveaway
- A WeChat Pay MY Wallet user (“User”) can get a coupon of RM2 (the use of which will be subject to a minimum spending of RM10) on the landing page of this Promotion during the Promotion Period.
- For a user who (i) successfully binds a new debit card to his WeChat Pay MY Wallet or (ii) makes a top-up of RM10 or more in WeChat Pay MY Wallet during the Promotion Period, he can get a coupon of RM5 (the use of which will be subject to a minimum spending of RM10).
Chinese New Year Shake Bonus
- During the Promotion Period, users who spend RM5 or above can participate in “Shake Bonus” up to three times a day.
- Users who participate in “Shake Bonus” have the opportunity to get a coupon of up to RM66 or a money packet of up to RM88.
General terms and conditions
- This Promotion is on a first-come-first-served basis and subject to availability.
- A User can participate in more than one promotion as long as he satisfies the eligibility requirements for such promotions.
- A coupon will be valid for 14 days from the date of receipt (inclusive).
- A User is not required to select the coupon to enjoy the discount. The value of the coupon will be automatically deducted from the payment amount when a User makes a purchase with WeChat Pay MY.
- Only one coupon can be used in a transaction. If a User has more than one coupon in his WeChat Pay MY Wallet, the coupon with the highest value will be automatically consumed. If there are more than one coupon of the same value in the WeChat Pay MY Wallet, the coupon which expires sooner will be automatically consumed.
- If a refund takes place, a User will only be entitled to a refund of the amount actually paid by him but not the value of the coupon.
- The value of the money packet will be topped up to the User’s balance account after the User clicks open the money packet. The money packet will expire if the User fails to click open the money packet within 24 hours upon receipt.
- If a User obtains and/or uses a coupon or a money packet by fraud or misconduct, WeChat Pay reserves the right to disqualify the User from participating in the Promotion and/or using the coupon or the money packet.
- WeChat Pay MY reserves the right to withhold, restrict or deny any Users from using the coupon and/or the money packet if it considers any possibility of fraud or misconduct. WeChat Pay MY’s decision is final in the event of dispute regarding all matters relating to this Promotion.
- WeChat Pay MY reserves the right to amend or change any terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time, or to terminate this promotion without any prior notice.
- By participating in this Promotion, the User accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and agrees that WeChat Pay MY may use his personal data for this Promotion.
