Deepavali is a wonderful time to share happiness, exchange thoughtful gifts and reconnect with the people who matter most. Whether you are preparing festive surprises for family members, sending appreciation gifts to business clients or visiting friends during the Festival of Lights, a beautifully presented hamper is a convenient way to make the occasion more special. If you are looking for festive gifts while getting a little extra value for your money, GAMA Supermarket and Departmental Store has a promotion worth checking out this Deepavali season.
From 26 October to 8 November 2026, shoppers can enjoy the GAMA Deepavali Prepack Hamper Promotion, which comes with an attractive reward for qualifying purchases. Customers who purchase RM200 worth of Deepavali prepack hampers will receive a FREE RM10 GAMA Gift Voucher. The voucher can be claimed at the PWP Counter, giving shoppers an additional reason to plan their festive purchases at GAMA.
Instead of spending hours choosing individual gifts and arranging them into attractive packages, shoppers can consider prepacked hampers as a practical option for spreading festive cheer. With an extra gift voucher available for qualifying purchases, this promotion may also help shoppers get more value when preparing gifts for several recipients.
Make Deepavali Gifting Easier with Festive Hampers
Choosing the right gift for Deepavali can sometimes be more challenging than expected. You might need something suitable for relatives, neighbours, colleagues, business associates or friends who are celebrating the festival. Each recipient may have different preferences, and finding something presentable without exceeding your budget requires a little planning.
This is where prepacked festive hampers can come in handy. They offer a convenient gifting option for shoppers who want something that looks thoughtful without having to purchase and arrange every item separately.
GAMA Supermarket and Departmental Store is promoting its Deepavali prepack hampers for the festive season, giving customers an opportunity to prepare their gifts ahead of the celebrations. A hamper can be a suitable choice when visiting someone’s home, expressing appreciation to a valued client or presenting a festive gift to a colleague.
The contents and presentation of individual hampers may vary, so shoppers should check the available selections in-store before deciding which option best suits their needs. It is also worth comparing the available hampers according to their contents, presentation and price to ensure that the final choice fits the intended recipient and budget.
Get a FREE RM10 GAMA Gift Voucher When You Spend RM200
The highlight of this promotion is the additional reward for shoppers purchasing Deepavali prepack hampers.
Customers who spend RM200 on qualifying Deepavali prepack hampers will receive a FREE RM10 GAMA Gift Voucher. This offer gives shoppers an extra benefit on top of their festive purchases, particularly if they are already planning to buy several hampers for family, friends or business contacts.
For example, if you are purchasing hampers for several relatives and have already planned a budget of RM200, this promotion gives you the opportunity to receive a RM10 voucher with your qualifying purchase. Rather than treating the voucher as a reason to spend more than necessary, it makes sense to use the offer as an added benefit when your planned shopping already meets the required amount.
The voucher could be especially appealing to regular GAMA shoppers who expect to make additional purchases at the store. However, shoppers should confirm the voucher’s terms and conditions, including its validity period, eligible purchases and any redemption restrictions, before relying on it for future savings.
One important detail to remember is that the promotion specifically mentions purchases of Deepavali prepack hampers. Customers should not assume that ordinary supermarket purchases or other departmental store items count towards the RM200 qualifying amount unless GAMA confirms otherwise.
A Practical Choice for Families, Friends and Corporate Gifting
One reason to consider this promotion is the flexibility that festive hampers offer. Instead of purchasing the same gift for everyone, shoppers can look at the available selections and choose hampers that suit different recipients.
For family gatherings, a hamper can be a convenient contribution when visiting relatives during the festive period. For friends and neighbours, it provides a simple way to share good wishes and celebrate the season together. Businesses may also find hampers useful when preparing appreciation gifts for clients, partners or employees.
If you are buying for multiple recipients, it is sensible to make a list before visiting the store. Decide how many hampers are needed, establish a spending limit and estimate the total cost. This will help you determine whether the RM200 qualifying amount fits your shopping plans without putting unnecessary pressure on your festive budget.
You can also compare the available hamper sizes and contents to determine which options offer the best value for each recipient. A higher-priced hamper is not automatically the best choice; the most suitable option is one that balances presentation, usefulness and affordability.
For shoppers who prefer to complete their festive preparations in one trip, visiting GAMA to explore the available prepacked hampers could save time compared with sourcing individual gifts from different shops.
Why Should You Visit GAMA for This Deepavali Promotion?
There are several reasons why this promotion may be worth considering if you are preparing for Deepavali.
First, the prepacked hamper concept makes gift shopping more straightforward. When you have several people to buy for, ready-made hampers can reduce the time spent selecting and arranging individual items. You can focus on choosing suitable gifts rather than putting every package together yourself.
Second, the free RM10 gift voucher provides an additional benefit when you meet the RM200 qualifying purchase requirement. Although the voucher is not an immediate reduction in the hamper price, it can offer extra value if its terms suit your future shopping needs.
Third, the promotion runs across two calendar weeks, from 26 October to 8 November 2026. This gives shoppers an opportunity to plan their visit instead of leaving all their festive shopping until the last minute. Nevertheless, it is best to shop earlier if you have specific hamper preferences, as availability may change during the promotion.
Finally, festive gifting is about more than the items inside a package. It is also a way to express appreciation, strengthen relationships and share the happiness of the season. A thoughtfully chosen hamper can help make these gestures easier, whether you are shopping for loved ones or preparing gifts for professional contacts.
Plan Your Shopping Before Visiting
To make the most of the offer, start by deciding how much you intend to spend on Deepavali hampers. If your planned purchase is already RM200 or more, remember to ask about the free RM10 GAMA Gift Voucher and how to claim it.
According to the promotion announcement, the voucher can be claimed at the PWP Counter. Make sure you check with the relevant counter staff about the redemption process and any applicable conditions before leaving the store.
It is also advisable to confirm the availability of your preferred hampers, particularly if you need several of them for a large family gathering or corporate gifting. The original announcement encourages shoppers to visit before stocks run out, so the full selection may not necessarily remain available throughout the promotional period.
