Pokémon fans in Malaysia have another exciting collectible to add to their shopping wish list! To celebrate Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary, Touch ‘n Go has teamed up with the beloved Pokémon franchise to introduce a special collection of Pokémon-themed cards. Whether they have been following Pokémon since the early days or have only recently become fans, this collection offers a fun little surprise for anyone who enjoys collecting merchandise featuring their favourite characters.

Even better, Pokémon enthusiasts do not need to spend a fortune to get started. The Touch ‘n Go x Pokémon 30th Anniversary Mystery Card Blind Pack is available on Lazada Malaysia for just RM28.99 per pack, making it an interesting collectible to consider for fans who want to celebrate this special anniversary.

The collection is available through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet Store on LazMall, so shoppers can conveniently place their orders online without having to travel to a physical shop. However, this promotion is available while stocks last, so interested collectors may want to check the listing sooner rather than later.

Celebrate Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary with Special Collectible Cards

Pokémon has remained one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment franchises, bringing together generations of fans through its games, animated series, trading cards and merchandise. From children discovering Pikachu for the first time to longtime fans who remember the original Pokémon adventures, the franchise continues to hold a special place in many people’s hearts.

This Touch ‘n Go collaboration offers another enjoyable way to celebrate the Pokémon anniversary. Instead of purchasing an ordinary souvenir, collectors can look forward to receiving a specially designed Pokémon-themed card featuring familiar characters from the franchise.

According to the Lazada product listing, the collection includes several popular Pokémon, giving fans different designs to look forward to.

Some of the featured characters include:

• Pikachu – The iconic Electric-type Pokémon that has become the face of the franchise.
• Charmander – The adorable Fire-type starter Pokémon loved by many longtime fans.
• Squirtle – The classic Water-type starter with its unmistakable appearance.
• Bulbasaur – The friendly Grass-type starter that remains a fan favourite.
• Charizard – One of the most recognisable and popular Pokémon characters.
• Blastoise – The powerful Water-type Pokémon known for its impressive water cannons.
• Venusaur – The final evolution of Bulbasaur, featuring its distinctive large flower.
• Mystery Card – An additional surprise that makes opening a pack even more exciting.

With several familiar characters included in the collection, fans have something to look forward to regardless of which design they receive.

The Fun of Opening a Mystery Blind Pack

One of the most interesting features of this promotion is that the cards come in a blind pack format. This means shoppers will not know exactly which card design they are getting until they open the packaging.

That element of surprise is part of the collecting experience. One pack could contain a character they have always liked, while another might introduce a different Pokémon design they would not normally have chosen.

For collectors, this makes every purchase feel like a small unboxing experience. There is always that moment of anticipation when opening the pack and discovering which Pokémon has arrived.

It can also make the collection more enjoyable for friends and family members who share the same interest. They could purchase a few packs together, open them at the same time and compare the cards they receive.

However, shoppers should remember that blind packs do not guarantee a particular character. Anyone hoping to get Pikachu, Charizard or another specific Pokémon should be prepared for the possibility of receiving a different design.

A Fun Collectible Gift for Pokémon Fans

Not every gift needs to be expensive to bring a smile to someone’s face. Sometimes, a small collectible featuring a favourite character can be enough to make someone’s day.

The Touch ‘n Go x Pokémon 30th Anniversary cards could make an interesting gift for children who enjoy Pokémon, friends who collect character merchandise or adults who have been fans of the franchise for years.

Parents could also consider purchasing a pack as a small surprise for their children, especially if they enjoy discovering different Pokémon characters. Meanwhile, longtime collectors may simply appreciate having another anniversary-themed item to add to their collection.

Another enjoyable idea is to turn the unboxing into a shared activity. Friends and family members could each purchase a pack and reveal their cards together. Comparing the different designs can make the experience more entertaining than simply opening the packaging alone.

Of course, collectors should manage their expectations because the blind pack format means there is no guarantee of receiving a particular character or a complete set.

Why Should Pokémon Fans Check Out This Deal?

There are several reasons why this Touch ‘n Go collaboration is worth checking out.

First, it celebrates an important milestone for one of the most beloved entertainment franchises. Pokémon has entertained fans across different generations, and anniversary merchandise offers collectors another way to remember the occasion.

Second, the RM28.99 price point makes it possible to participate without committing to a large merchandise purchase. Fans can start with one pack and decide whether they would like to collect more later.

Third, the mystery element makes the purchase more exciting. Rather than knowing exactly what is inside, shoppers get to enjoy the anticipation of discovering their card after opening the pack.

Finally, the convenience of Lazada means collectors can place their orders from home. They can also check available vouchers and shipping promotions before completing their purchases.

For Pokémon enthusiasts, this is a simple way to enjoy the anniversary celebration while adding something different to their collection.
