Taking care of personal health does not always have to be expensive. Sometimes, a good opportunity to look after yourself, learn more about your health and enjoy attractive shopping deals can be found right in your neighbourhood. For those living in Bukit Mertajam and nearby areas in Penang, there is something worth adding to the weekend calendar as Mega Kulim Pharmacy is organising a special two-day Health Carnival at its Jalan Pasar outlet.

Running from 7 to 8 November 2026, the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Health Carnival promises two days of health awareness activities, exciting rewards, exclusive shopping deals and special promotions. Visitors can look forward to a combination of wellness experiences and savings opportunities, making this a worthwhile event for individuals and families who want to take better care of themselves while enjoying some additional shopping benefits.

Whether visitors are planning to restock their daily health essentials, explore wellness products, check their health condition or simply discover the latest promotions, this carnival offers several reasons to drop by.

The event will take place at Mega Kulim Pharmacy Jalan Pasar, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang, with operating hours from 8.30am to 9.30pm on both days. With extended opening hours, visitors can conveniently plan their visit around their weekend activities.

Two Days of Health, Wellness and Shopping Promotions

One of the highlights of the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Health Carnival is the opportunity to combine health-related activities with attractive shopping promotions.

Pharmacy shopping is often part of a household’s regular spending, particularly for families purchasing vitamins, supplements, personal care products and everyday healthcare essentials. Instead of waiting until the next shopping trip, visitors can take advantage of this special carnival to explore the available deals and potentially enjoy additional benefits.

The event will feature two-day special promotions, premium exclusive deals and exclusive gifts with purchase (GWP). These offers provide visitors with more reasons to browse the participating products and check whether there are any useful savings on items they already intend to purchase.

For shoppers who regularly buy healthcare and wellness products, this could be a good opportunity to compare prices, explore available offers and plan their purchases more carefully.

Do remember that individual promotions may have their own terms and conditions, including product eligibility and limited quantities. Visitors are encouraged to check the details with the pharmacy team before making payment.

Enjoy Free Health Screenings During the Carnival

Beyond shopping discounts, the carnival also places an emphasis on health awareness through its free health screening activities.

Health screenings can be useful for identifying certain health indicators that may otherwise go unnoticed. Many people tend to focus on their health only when they start experiencing discomfort or symptoms. However, taking time to understand basic health measurements can help individuals become more aware of their overall well-being.

For visitors who have been putting off a routine health check, this carnival provides a convenient opportunity to explore the available screening activities without having to arrange a separate shopping trip.

Families can also make the visit more meaningful by encouraging one another to pay attention to their health. Parents, working adults and older family members may all benefit from making health awareness a regular part of their lifestyle.

Although the carnival offers free health screening activities, visitors should check with the organisers regarding the specific screening tests available, eligibility requirements and whether registration is necessary.

It is also important to remember that general health screenings do not replace professional medical consultations or diagnostic examinations when these are required.

AI-Powered Eye Screening for Only RM8

Special price: RM8 per person

Another attraction worth highlighting is the AI-powered eye screening programme, which will be available for only RM8 per person, compared with its normal price of RM30.

That means visitors can enjoy a RM22 saving, equivalent to approximately 73% off the usual price.

For anyone who has been curious about their eye health, this is an affordable opportunity to explore the screening service during the two-day event.

Our eyes play an important role in almost everything we do, from reading and driving to working on computers and using mobile phones. With many people spending long hours looking at digital screens, eye care is something that should not be overlooked.

Having access to an eye screening service at a special carnival price may encourage more people to pay attention to their vision and seek further professional advice when necessary.

There is also an additional registration benefit. Visitors who register for the RM8 AI-powered eye screening will receive a RM30 MegaLive Voucher.

This makes the offer particularly interesting because participants can enjoy the discounted screening service while receiving a voucher worth more than the screening fee.

However, visitors should confirm the voucher’s redemption conditions, validity period and any minimum spending requirements directly with Mega Kulim Pharmacy before registering.

As with other screening services, AI-powered eye screening should be treated as a preliminary assessment rather than a replacement for a comprehensive eye examination by a qualified eye-care professional.

Spin & Win Activities and Year-End Lucky Draw Deals

Shopping during a promotional event becomes even more exciting when there are additional rewards to look forward to.

Mega Kulim Pharmacy is also bringing Spin & Win activities to the carnival, giving visitors another opportunity to enjoy the event beyond browsing products and checking out special prices.

Spin & Win activities can add a little extra excitement to a shopping trip, especially for visitors who enjoy participating in promotional games and discovering possible rewards.

There will also be Year-End Lucky Draw Deals, giving shoppers another reason to explore the available promotions during the carnival.

For bargain hunters, lucky draw campaigns and promotional activities can make an ordinary shopping experience more enjoyable. However, visitors should check the participation requirements, qualifying purchases, prize details and applicable terms before taking part.

It is always a good idea to understand the conditions first rather than assuming that every purchase automatically qualifies for a reward.

Get a FREE Mega Kulim Pharmacy Recycle Bag with RM50 Purchase

FREE gift with minimum RM50 purchase

Here is another useful shopping benefit that visitors may want to take advantage of.

Shoppers who make a minimum purchase of RM50 in a single receipt will receive a FREE Mega Kulim Pharmacy recycle bag.

This is a practical little bonus for customers who are already planning to purchase their household healthcare essentials during the event.

Instead of making several smaller transactions, visitors who intend to spend at least RM50 may find it more convenient to combine their eligible purchases into one receipt to meet the minimum spending requirement.

The recycle bag can also be useful for everyday shopping, helping reduce the need for disposable shopping bags.

As the promotion is subject to the organiser’s terms and conditions, shoppers should confirm the availability of the free gift and whether there are any stock limitations. It would also be wise to ask whether all products qualify towards the RM50 minimum spending requirement.

Bring Family and Friends Along

One of the best things about a community health carnival is that it offers something beyond ordinary retail promotions.

Rather than visiting the pharmacy simply to purchase products and leave, visitors can take their time exploring the activities, learning about available wellness services and discovering useful shopping offers.

Families can make this a weekend outing by bringing parents, siblings and friends along. Those who regularly purchase vitamins, supplements, healthcare products or personal care essentials may also appreciate the opportunity to check out the exclusive deals.

The extended operating hours of 8.30am to 9.30pm provide some flexibility for visitors who prefer coming in the morning or later in the evening.

For a more convenient experience, visitors may wish to arrive earlier if they are particularly interested in the health screening activities or promotional gifts, especially if certain services or gifts are available in limited quantities.

It is also worth preparing a shopping list before visiting. This helps shoppers focus on products they genuinely need instead of spending unnecessarily just because there are promotional offers available.

Why You Should Visit Mega Kulim Pharmacy Health Carnival 2026

There are several reasons why this two-day event deserves a place on the weekend shopping list.

Firstly, visitors can explore various health and wellness activities in one location. The availability of free health screenings makes the carnival more meaningful than a typical shopping promotion.

Secondly, the RM8 AI-powered eye screening is an attractive offer, particularly for those interested in checking their eye health at a reduced price. With a normal price of RM30 and an additional RM30 MegaLive Voucher upon registration, it is certainly one of the event highlights worth checking out.

Thirdly, shoppers can enjoy two-day special promotions, premium exclusive deals and gifts with purchase. The free recycle bag with a minimum RM50 purchase is another practical benefit for customers who already have shopping plans.

Finally, the Spin & Win activities and Year-End Lucky Draw Deals bring additional excitement to the experience.

Overall, the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Health Carnival is a good opportunity for Bukit Mertajam residents and nearby communities to combine health awareness with a little weekend shopping. Instead of treating healthcare purchases as another routine expense, visitors can use this event to discover available savings while making time for their well-being.
