Looking for a stylish and comfortable car for your next road trip, weekend getaway or everyday journey? GoCar Malaysia has another exciting option for drivers to consider with the arrival of the GAC EMKOO, now available through its car-sharing platform from just RM22.90 per hour.
Whether someone needs a vehicle for a few hours of errands, a short city drive or a longer adventure with family and friends, having access to a suitable car without committing to ownership can be a practical alternative. With the GAC EMKOO joining GoCar’s available vehicle selection, customers have another opportunity to experience a modern SUV while enjoying the flexibility of hourly car rental.
Even better, those who have never used GoCar before can enjoy an additional welcome offer of up to 25% OFF their first booking by entering the promotional code NEWTOGOCAR. This makes the promotion particularly interesting for first-time users who want to try the platform while keeping their transportation expenses under control.
Here is what Malaysian drivers should know about this latest GoCar offering and why it may be worth checking out.
Discover the GAC EMKOO on GoCar Malaysia
The GAC EMKOO is a stylish SUV designed for drivers who appreciate a modern appearance and a vehicle that is suitable for different driving occasions. Its bold exterior gives it a distinctive road presence, making it an interesting option for anyone who wants something different from the usual compact rental car.
Now that the GAC EMKOO is available on GoCar, customers can explore the possibility of renting this SUV without having to purchase one themselves.
For people who occasionally need a larger or more versatile vehicle, hourly car rental can be a convenient solution. Instead of paying for a full-day rental when only a few hours are needed, GoCar’s hourly pricing gives customers more flexibility when planning their journeys.
The GAC EMKOO could be worth considering for a variety of occasions, including shopping trips, visiting friends and relatives, weekend activities or simply enjoying a different driving experience.
Of course, vehicle availability, rental conditions and the applicable booking rates should always be checked through the GoCar app before confirming a reservation.
Rent the GAC EMKOO from RM22.90 per Hour
One of the biggest attractions of this announcement is the advertised starting price.
Customers can experience the GAC EMKOO from just RM22.90 per hour through GoCar Malaysia. For drivers who only require transportation for a limited period, this hourly rental arrangement may offer a more flexible alternative to traditional car rental packages.
For example, someone planning a short shopping trip or attending an appointment may not need a vehicle for an entire day. An hourly rental option allows customers to plan their transportation around their actual requirements.
It may also be useful for people who want to explore a different vehicle before deciding whether a particular SUV suits their preferences.
However, it is important to remember that RM22.90 per hour is the advertised starting rate. The final booking cost may depend on the rental duration, selected vehicle, location, applicable charges and other booking conditions.
Customers should review the complete pricing breakdown in the GoCar app before proceeding with payment.
New to GoCar? Enjoy Up to 25% OFF Your First Booking!
There is another reason why this promotion deserves attention, particularly for people who have not tried GoCar before.
New GoCar customers can enjoy up to 25% OFF their first booking by using the promotional code:
NEWTOGOCAR
This welcome offer provides an additional opportunity to save when making that first reservation.
For anyone who has been thinking about trying a car-sharing service, this could be a good time to give it a go. Rather than immediately committing to a longer rental arrangement, new users can explore the platform and experience the booking process while taking advantage of the available introductory discount.
The discount may also make it easier to consider renting a vehicle for a planned outing, shopping trip or short weekend activity.
Before applying the code, customers should check the promotional terms and conditions, including the maximum discount, minimum booking requirements, eligible rental periods and validity restrictions. The advertised offer is up to 25%, so the actual savings may vary depending on the applicable conditions.
Remember to enter the code NEWTOGOCAR during the booking process if the promotion is eligible for the selected reservation.

Why Should You Consider This GoCar Promotion?
There are several reasons why the arrival of the GAC EMKOO on GoCar may appeal to Malaysian drivers.
First, it provides another vehicle choice for customers who prefer an SUV rather than a smaller passenger car. Its bold styling makes it an interesting option for those who enjoy experiencing different vehicles.
Second, the hourly rental arrangement offers flexibility. Not everyone needs a car every day, and purchasing a vehicle comes with additional responsibilities such as maintenance, insurance, road tax and parking expenses. Car-sharing gives occasional drivers another way to access transportation without taking on the long-term commitment of ownership.
Third, the introductory discount makes the offer more attractive to new customers. Up to 25% OFF the first booking with NEWTOGOCAR gives newcomers an incentive to try the service and potentially save on their initial rental.
Finally, booking through a mobile application can make the process more convenient. Customers can explore available vehicles, compare booking options and organise their rental according to their schedules.
For anyone planning a short outing, a weekend drive or simply wanting to experience the GAC EMKOO, this promotion is worth exploring.
Things to Check Before Making a Reservation
Although the advertised price and welcome discount are attractive, customers should take a few minutes to review the rental conditions before booking.
Check the actual hourly rate and final amount payable, as additional charges may apply depending on the booking. It is also advisable to confirm the vehicle’s availability, collection location, return arrangements and rental duration.
New users should pay particular attention to the terms governing the NEWTOGOCAR promotional code. Since the discount is advertised as up to 25%, eligibility and savings may differ between bookings.
Customers should also ensure they meet GoCar’s driver eligibility and verification requirements. Before driving away, inspect the vehicle and follow the platform’s instructions for reporting any existing damage or issues.
These simple checks can help make the rental experience smoother and avoid unnecessary surprises.
