Looking for a good reason to enjoy a delicious Thai meal while bringing home some complimentary gifts? Here is something worth checking out! Absolute Thai Malaysia is extending its opening celebration at 118 Mall with a special customer appreciation promotion, giving diners the opportunity to receive free gifts when they spend a qualifying amount at the restaurant.
The good news is that this opening special does not end after just one day. Starting from 3 November 2026 onwards, customers dining at Absolute Thai’s 118 Mall outlet can enjoy a selection of complimentary gifts with minimum spending requirements. Depending on how much they spend, diners may receive pen gift sets, luggage tags, umbrellas or even an exclusive Absolute Thai tote bag.
For anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine and appreciates getting something extra when dining out, this is a promotion worth adding to the shopping and dining plans.
Absolute Thai Malaysia Continues Its Opening Celebration at 118 Mall
Restaurant opening celebrations are always a good opportunity for customers to discover a new dining destination while enjoying additional perks. Absolute Thai is making the experience even more rewarding by continuing its opening promotion at 118 Mall.
Rather than offering just one type of complimentary item, the restaurant has prepared several gifts across different spending levels. This gives customers more flexibility, whether they are planning a casual meal, dining with family or enjoying a gathering with friends.
The promotion is particularly interesting because customers do not necessarily need to spend a large amount to qualify for a gift. With a minimum purchase of RM100, diners can already receive a complimentary item, making it a nice little bonus alongside their meal.
Those planning a bigger dining session can also work towards the higher spending tiers to enjoy other gifts.
Enjoy FREE Pen Gift Sets and Luggage Tags with a Minimum Spend of RM100
For customers who prefer practical everyday gifts, the RM100 spending tier offers two complimentary gift options.
With a minimum spend of RM100, eligible customers can receive a FREE pen gift set or a FREE luggage tag, subject to the promotion’s terms and conditions and availability.
A pen gift set is a useful item to keep at home, at the office or in a bag for everyday writing needs. It can also make a simple but thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates stationery.
Meanwhile, the luggage tag is a handy travel accessory, especially for those who frequently travel for holidays, business trips or weekend getaways. Having an identifiable luggage tag can make it easier to recognise personal belongings when collecting bags at the airport.
For diners who are already planning to spend around RM100 on their meal, receiving one of these complimentary gifts makes the dining experience a little more rewarding.
Spend RM200 and Receive a FREE Umbrella
If the RM100 gift options are not quite what customers are looking for, there is another attractive reward at the next spending level.
Customers who spend a minimum of RM200 can qualify for a FREE umbrella.
An umbrella is one of those everyday essentials that comes in handy throughout the year, particularly in Malaysia, where unpredictable rain showers can easily interrupt daily plans. Keeping an extra umbrella in the car, office or handbag is always useful.
Instead of purchasing one separately, eligible diners can enjoy this complimentary gift when meeting the required spending amount.
This option may be especially appealing to families or groups of friends who are planning to dine together. When the bill reaches RM200, the umbrella becomes an additional perk to enjoy after the meal.
However, customers should check with the restaurant regarding the applicable gift selection and spending conditions before making payment.
Spend RM500 and Get a FREE Absolute Thai Tote Bag
For those planning a larger dining occasion, the highest advertised spending tier comes with another interesting gift.
Customers who spend a minimum of RM500 can receive a FREE Absolute Thai tote bag, available in two colour options: blue or beige.
Tote bags are practical accessories that can be used for shopping, carrying personal belongings, keeping everyday essentials or bringing items along for a casual outing.
The choice between blue and beige also gives customers an opportunity to select a colour that suits their personal preference, subject to availability.
This reward could be particularly appealing to larger families, groups of friends or customers organising a special meal together. When several people share a dining bill, reaching RM500 may be more manageable than spending that amount individually.
It is also worth remembering that customers should not spend beyond their budget simply to qualify for a higher-tier gift. The best way to enjoy this promotion is to choose the spending level that naturally matches the dining occasion.
Why Should You Visit Absolute Thai at 118 Mall?
There are several reasons why this opening promotion is worth considering, especially for customers who enjoy Thai food and appreciate a little extra value when dining out.
Firstly, the promotion gives diners an opportunity to enjoy a restaurant meal while receiving a complimentary gift. Rather than simply paying for food and beverages, eligible customers can bring home an additional item that may be useful in their everyday lives.
Secondly, there are different spending tiers to suit different dining occasions. Customers spending RM100 can already qualify for a gift, while those planning larger meals can enjoy the umbrella or tote bag rewards.
This flexibility makes the promotion suitable for different groups of customers. Couples enjoying a meal together, families having a weekend lunch or friends catching up over dinner may all find an opportunity to participate.
Another reason to visit is the chance to discover Absolute Thai’s dining experience at 118 Mall. For customers who have not visited this outlet before, the opening celebration provides a timely reason to stop by, enjoy a meal and explore what the restaurant has to offer.
It can also be a convenient addition to a shopping trip. Instead of making a separate journey just to collect a promotional gift, customers can combine their visit with shopping, meeting friends or spending time with family at 118 Mall.
Most importantly, the gifts are practical rather than purely decorative. Whether it is a pen set for everyday use, a luggage tag for travelling, an umbrella for rainy days or a tote bag for shopping, there is something that customers may find useful beyond the restaurant visit.
Plan Your Visit Before the Gifts Run Out
One important detail to remember is that this promotion is available from 3 November 2026 onwards, while stocks last.
This means customers should avoid waiting too long if they have a particular gift in mind. Complimentary items are subject to availability, and popular options may run out earlier than expected.
It is also advisable to check the promotion’s terms and conditions directly with the 118 Mall outlet before placing an order. Customers can confirm the qualifying spending amount, gift redemption process and availability of their preferred gift.
Those interested in the blue or beige tote bag should also enquire about the available colours before making their dining plans.
