Celebrating a birthday is always a good excuse to enjoy delicious food with family and friends. However, birthday celebrations do not always have to come with an expensive bill. If a satisfying hotpot meal sounds like your ideal birthday treat, there is a reason to put SHABU-YO Malaysia on your dining list.

Starting 1 November 2026, SHABU-YO Malaysia is updating its birthday promotion, giving birthday celebrants an opportunity to enjoy 15% OFF the total bill for up to 6 people. Whether you are planning a small family gathering, a meal with your closest friends or simply looking for an enjoyable way to mark another year, this birthday deal offers a little extra value when dining together.

The best part is that the updated promotion gives customers a wider window to enjoy their birthday discount. Instead of having to visit the restaurant strictly on their actual birthday, eligible customers can now redeem the offer from one week before to one week after their birthday.

This means there is more flexibility when arranging a celebration, especially for those who have busy working schedules, family commitments or friends who are only available on certain days.

SHABU-YO Malaysia Birthday Promotion: Enjoy 15% OFF Your Total Bill

For anyone unfamiliar with SHABU-YO, it is a hotpot dining destination where customers can enjoy an All You Can Eat experience. It is particularly suitable for people who enjoy having different ingredients, fresh vegetables, meat and other hotpot selections to cook according to their preferences.

With the latest birthday promotion, eligible customers can enjoy 15% OFF the entire table bill for a maximum of 6 people. This is certainly worth considering if you are planning to celebrate with a small group rather than dining alone.

For example, if your table has six diners, the discount applies to the total eligible bill rather than being limited to the birthday celebrant’s individual meal. This makes the promotion more attractive for group celebrations, as everyone at the table can enjoy the savings together.

Of course, the actual amount saved will depend on your final dining bill. Nevertheless, a 15% discount can make a noticeable difference, particularly when enjoying an All You Can Eat meal with several family members or friends.

Instead of spending your entire birthday budget on food, you can enjoy a more affordable dining experience and potentially keep some extra money for a birthday cake, drinks or another activity after the meal.

More Flexible Birthday Discount Validity from November 2026

One of the biggest changes to take note of is the updated redemption period.

Effective 1 November 2026, the SHABU-YO birthday promotion will be valid from seven days before the customer’s actual birthday until seven days after the birthday.

In simple terms, customers will have a total window of approximately 15 calendar days to enjoy the birthday offer, including the actual birthday itself.

This is particularly helpful for people who cannot celebrate on their actual birthday. Perhaps your birthday falls on a weekday, but you would rather organise a dinner during the weekend. Alternatively, you may have family members travelling from different locations and need additional time to arrange a suitable gathering.

With this updated arrangement, there is no need to squeeze everyone into a single day just to enjoy the promotion.

For example, if your birthday falls on 10 November 2026, the birthday discount can be enjoyed from 3 November until 17 November 2026, subject to the promotion’s terms and conditions.

It is still important to remember that the offer is linked to your actual birthday. Customers should plan their visit within the permitted period to avoid missing out.

What Can You Enjoy with the Birthday Deal?

The promotion is applicable exclusively to SHABU-YO’s All You Can Eat Course.

This is an important detail because customers should not assume that every menu option qualifies for the birthday discount. According to the promotion details, the offer does not apply to Set Meals or Single Hotpot orders.

If you are visiting SHABU-YO specifically to enjoy this birthday deal, choosing the All You Can Eat Course is therefore essential.

For hotpot lovers, an All You Can Eat experience is a great way to enjoy a variety of ingredients without having to limit yourself to just one or two selections. Diners can take their time, prepare their preferred combinations and enjoy a leisurely meal together.

It is also a suitable dining option for groups with different food preferences. Some may prefer vegetables and lighter ingredients, while others might enjoy selecting different meat options and experimenting with various hotpot combinations.

Rather than having everyone order separate dishes, the All You Can Eat format allows the group to share the experience while enjoying their own preferred selections.

With the additional 15% birthday discount, this could be a good opportunity to make a special occasion more enjoyable without paying the full amount.

Bringing Your Own Birthday Cake? SHABU-YO Can Help!

A birthday celebration would not feel complete without a cake, and SHABU-YO has also included a thoughtful arrangement for customers who wish to bring their own birthday cake.

If you are planning a surprise celebration for a family member, partner or friend, you can request the restaurant to refrigerate your birthday cake.

This is a convenient arrangement, especially if you intend to have the cake after enjoying your hotpot meal. You will not have to worry as much about keeping the cake at the right temperature while everyone is busy dining.

It is a small but useful touch that makes organising a birthday gathering easier.

For the best experience, it is advisable to inform the restaurant staff in advance when making your arrangements, particularly if you are bringing a larger cake or visiting with a bigger group.

You can then enjoy your meal first before bringing out the cake for the birthday celebration.

Important Terms and Conditions to Remember

Before heading to the nearest SHABU-YO outlet, there are a few important conditions worth remembering.

Firstly, the 15% discount is applicable to the total table bill for a maximum of six people. This makes it a suitable promotion for small-group celebrations, but larger groups should check directly with the restaurant regarding the applicable arrangements.

Secondly, the promotion is only valid for the All You Can Eat Course. Set Meals and Single Hotpot orders are excluded from this birthday offer.

Another important condition is that the birthday promotion cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions, offers, vouchers or coupons. Therefore, customers should not expect to stack multiple discounts on the same bill.

It is also advisable to bring along suitable proof of your birthday and check with the restaurant regarding the verification requirements before placing your order.

As promotion conditions can sometimes be updated, checking the latest information with SHABU-YO before visiting is always a sensible step.

Why Should You Visit SHABU-YO for Your Birthday Celebration?

There are plenty of restaurants where you can celebrate a birthday, but finding one that combines an enjoyable dining experience with meaningful savings is always a bonus.

SHABU-YO’s updated birthday promotion is worth considering because it offers three attractive benefits.

The first is the 15% discount, which helps reduce the overall dining expenses for a group of up to six people. Instead of celebrating with only the birthday celebrant receiving a discount on an individual meal, the offer applies to the total table bill.

The second is the extended redemption period. Having seven days before and seven days after your actual birthday gives you more flexibility to organise a celebration around everyone’s schedule.

The third is the opportunity to enjoy an All You Can Eat hotpot experience with family and friends. Food is often one of the best ways to bring people together, and a hotpot meal allows everyone to sit around the table, prepare their favourite ingredients and spend quality time together.

Whether you are celebrating your own birthday or arranging a surprise meal for someone special, this promotion provides a good reason to make a reservation or plan a visit.

If your birthday is coming up in November or the following months, remember to mark the eligible dates on your calendar. A little planning can help you make the most of this offer.

Overall, SHABU-YO Malaysia’s birthday promotion is a dining deal worth keeping in mind for anyone who enjoys hotpot and wants to celebrate without overspending. With 15% OFF the total bill for up to six people, a more flexible redemption period and the option to have a birthday cake refrigerated, it is a convenient way to make a birthday meal a little more special.
