Nongshim Roadshow at Sunshine Square Penang 2026: Celebrate Shin Ramyun’s 40th Anniversary and Win Exclusive Merchandise

Calling all instant noodle lovers and fans of Korean food! If Shin Ramyun is one of your favourite choices whenever you crave a comforting bowl of spicy noodles, there is a special event worth checking out in Penang. Sunshine Retail Penang is hosting the Nongshim Roadshow at Sunshine Square, Bayan Baru, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the popular Shin Ramyun brand. Visitors can look forward to a promotional shopping opportunity, a chance to win exclusive Nongshim merchandise and a special appearance by Malaysian entertainers Wany Hasrita and Khai Bahar.

Running until 1 November 2026, this roadshow offers a fun reason to visit Sunshine Square while picking up some of your favourite Nongshim Ramyun products. Even better, shoppers who spend RM40 or more on qualifying Nongshim Ramyun products can receive one free Spin the Wheel entry, giving them a chance to take home selected gifts and vouchers.

For anyone who enjoys Korean instant noodles, collects branded merchandise or simply likes getting extra value from everyday shopping, this is an event to consider before the promotion ends.

Celebrate 40 Years of Shin Ramyun

Shin Ramyun has become a familiar name among instant noodle enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy a rich, savoury broth with a satisfying spicy kick. Over the years, the brand has developed a strong following among people who appreciate convenient meals that can be prepared at home, in the office or whenever hunger strikes.

The Nongshim Roadshow celebrates the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun, making it an opportunity for fans to join in the festivities while exploring the brand’s products.

Whether you are a long-time Shin Ramyun fan or someone who regularly stocks up on instant noodles for quick meals, the roadshow provides an opportunity to shop for Nongshim Ramyun and enjoy an additional promotional activity.

It is also a suitable stop for shoppers who are already planning a grocery run at Sunshine Square. Rather than making a separate trip just to buy instant noodles, visitors can combine their shopping with the anniversary celebration and see whether the available rewards are worth claiming.

Spend RM40 and Get a Free Spin the Wheel Entry

One of the main attractions of this promotion is the Spin the Wheel activity. Shoppers who purchase RM40 or more in Nongshim Ramyun products are entitled to one free Spin the Wheel entry.

This means fans can make their usual instant noodle purchases while getting an opportunity to win something extra. Instead of spending money solely on merchandise, shoppers can qualify through purchases of the featured Nongshim Ramyun products.

The promotion may be particularly appealing to households that regularly buy instant noodles in larger quantities. If you usually keep several packets at home for quick lunches, late-night meals or busy weekdays, you could plan your purchases around the RM40 spending requirement.

However, it is worth remembering that the qualifying amount applies specifically to Nongshim Ramyun products. Shoppers should check with the roadshow staff to confirm which products are eligible before paying.

It is also sensible to purchase only what you genuinely need. The free spin is an added benefit, but the best value comes from buying products that you and your family will actually enjoy rather than spending more simply to qualify.

What Can You Win at the Nongshim Roadshow?

The roadshow features several prizes, ranging from practical everyday accessories to a shopping voucher. These gifts offer another reason for Nongshim fans to stop by and participate in the activity.

Here is a closer look at the prizes advertised for the promotion.

1. Nongshim Limited Edition Tumbler

A Nongshim limited-edition tumbler could be an appealing addition to your everyday essentials. Whether you bring drinks to work, keep water nearby while studying or carry a reusable tumbler when travelling, this branded item could be a useful keepsake from the anniversary roadshow.

For fans of Nongshim, it also offers a way to celebrate the brand beyond the usual instant noodle packets.

2. Nongshim Mini Sling Bag

The Nongshim mini sling bag is another prize to look out for. Compact bags can be convenient for carrying small essentials when heading out for a quick shopping trip, meeting friends or running errands.

Its branded design may also appeal to collectors who enjoy merchandise associated with their favourite food brands.

3. Nongshim Extendable Bag in Red or Black

Shoppers may also have a chance to win a Nongshim extendable bag in red or black. A reusable bag can be handy for carrying groceries, shopping purchases and other everyday items.

If you frequently visit supermarkets or shopping centres, having an extra bag available can be useful. The red and black options also provide a choice of colours within the advertised prize selection.

4. Sunshine RM10 Gift Voucher

Another prize listed for the promotion is a Sunshine RM10 gift voucher. For regular Sunshine shoppers, a voucher can be particularly practical because it may help reduce the cost of a future eligible purchase.

Before using the voucher, check its terms and conditions, including any minimum spending requirements, expiry date, participating outlets and product exclusions. These details can affect how much value you ultimately receive.

Please note that the prizes are subject to the promotion’s terms, availability and the roadshow’s arrangements. Winning a particular item is not guaranteed, so it is best to treat the Spin the Wheel activity as an enjoyable bonus rather than a reason to make unnecessary purchases.

Meet Wany Hasrita and Khai Bahar

The roadshow also highlights appearances by Malaysian brand ambassadors Wany Hasrita and Khai Bahar. Their involvement adds an entertainment element to the Shin Ramyun anniversary celebration and may make the event more attractive to fans who follow their work.

For visitors who enjoy Malaysian entertainment, the appearance of these familiar names could make the roadshow more memorable than an ordinary shopping trip.

However, shoppers should check the official announcement for any specific appearance dates, times, stage activities or meet-and-greet arrangements. Although both personalities are featured in the roadshow announcement, the supplied details do not specify their individual appearance schedules.

Planning ahead is particularly important if you intend to visit specifically to see either entertainer. Confirming the latest information before travelling can help prevent disappointment.

Why Should You Visit This Promotion?

There are several reasons to consider visiting the Nongshim Roadshow at Sunshine Square before it ends.

First, it gives existing Shin Ramyun fans an opportunity to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary while shopping for products they already enjoy. If Nongshim Ramyun is a regular item on your grocery list, the qualifying purchase could fit naturally into your usual shopping plans.

Second, the free Spin the Wheel entry adds an extra activity to the shopping experience. Instead of simply purchasing instant noodles and leaving, you can participate in the promotion for a chance to win branded merchandise or a Sunshine RM10 gift voucher.

Third, the selection of prizes includes practical items such as a tumbler, sling bag and extendable bag. These products may be useful beyond the event itself, making them appealing to shoppers who enjoy collecting promotional merchandise.

Finally, the event provides a reason to visit Sunshine Square in Bayan Baru with friends or family. You can combine the roadshow with other shopping errands, explore the shopping centre and enjoy a more interesting outing without needing to plan an entire day around the promotion.

The key is to approach the offer sensibly. Check your household’s needs, calculate your intended Nongshim Ramyun purchases and confirm the qualifying conditions before spending. That way, you can enjoy the promotional activity while keeping your grocery budget under control.
