Tasek Central Heyball Tournament 2026: Showcase Your Pool Skills and Compete for Up to RM10,000 in Prizes

Pool enthusiasts in Johor, here is an exciting event worth marking on the calendar! Tasek Central is bringing the competitive spirit to Skudai with the upcoming Heyball Tournament, taking place from 4 to 8 November 2026. With up to RM10,000 in prizes up for grabs, this is an opportunity for pool players to test their skills, challenge fellow enthusiasts and experience the excitement of a live tournament.

Whether you are an experienced player who regularly competes against other pool enthusiasts or someone who simply enjoys a good game with friends, this tournament offers a reason to get involved. Even if you prefer watching rather than competing, the event promises an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of competitive pool and see talented players battle it out at the table.

The tournament will be held at the Pool Room on Level 4, Lot 4-38, Tasek Central Mall, Skudai. Registration is still open, so interested participants should contact the organiser as soon as possible to find out more about joining the competition.

Compete for Up to RM10,000 in Prizes

The biggest attraction of the Tasek Central Heyball Tournament is undoubtedly the chance to compete for a share of the prize pool worth up to RM10,000. For players who have spent countless hours practising their shots, improving their positioning and learning how to handle pressure, a tournament like this offers an opportunity to put those skills to the test.

Pool is a game that requires more than simply hitting the balls into the pockets. Players need patience, concentration, tactical thinking and the ability to plan several shots ahead. A single mistake can change the direction of a match, making every turn at the table important.

With prizes available across several competition stages, including Champion, Runner-Up, Semi-Final, Quarter-Final and Top 16 categories, the tournament recognises participants who progress through the competition. The exact prize allocation for each category has not been provided, so interested players should contact the organiser for further information.

For anyone who enjoys competitive pool, the prospect of playing against other enthusiasts while competing for attractive prizes makes this an event worth considering.

Who Should Join the Heyball Tournament?

The tournament is particularly suitable for pool players who enjoy challenging themselves and measuring their abilities against different opponents. If you are confident in your cue skills, enjoy strategic gameplay and want to experience a more competitive environment, this could be your chance to step up to the table.

It is also an opportunity to meet other players who share the same interest. Competitive events can be a great way to exchange tips, learn new techniques and gain experience playing against opponents with different styles.

Even if you have never participated in a tournament before, you can contact the organiser to ask about the competition format and eligibility requirements before registering. It is always worth understanding the rules, match arrangements and other requirements so that you can prepare properly.

However, participants should assess their own playing experience and confirm the tournament’s entry requirements before committing to the registration fee.

Registration Fee of RM200 Includes a Free Aiplay T-Shirt

Players who wish to participate will need to pay a registration fee of RM200. As an additional benefit, registered participants will receive a free Aiplay T-shirt.

For those who regularly take part in pool competitions, the registration fee is an important consideration when deciding whether to join. Before registering, participants should confirm what is included in the entry fee, whether there are any additional charges and how the tournament’s prize arrangements work.

The free Aiplay T-shirt is a welcome extra for participants, giving them a tournament-related item to keep as a memento of the experience.

Since the competition is scheduled for five days, it is also advisable to ask the organiser about the match schedule, expected playing hours and whether participants need to be present throughout the event or only for their assigned matches.

These details can help players organise their time, particularly those travelling from other parts of Johor or neighbouring areas.

Enjoy Five Days of Competitive Pool Action

Running from 4 to 8 November 2026, the Tasek Central Heyball Tournament provides several days of competitive action for players and spectators to enjoy.

For participants, each match is an opportunity to demonstrate their ability, remain focused under pressure and progress through the tournament. For spectators, the competition offers an entertaining way to spend time watching skilled players make difficult shots, plan their next moves and compete for a place among the leading contenders.

There is also something enjoyable about watching a close match unfold. A player who appears to be behind can sometimes turn things around with a well-planned shot, while a small mistake can give an opponent the advantage. These moments make competitive pool exciting for both experienced followers of the game and casual viewers.

If you have friends who enjoy pool, consider making a visit together. You can watch the matches, support your favourite players and enjoy the atmosphere without needing to enter the competition yourself.

The tournament may also appeal to people who are curious about Heyball and want to see how the game is played at a competitive level. Watching experienced players can provide useful insight into shot selection, cue-ball control and match strategy.

Spectators should contact the venue or organiser to confirm the public viewing arrangements and any applicable admission requirements before making the trip.

Visit Tasek Central in Skudai

The tournament will take place at the Pool Room, Level 4, Lot 4-38, Tasek Central Mall, Skudai, Johor. Holding the competition at a shopping mall gives visitors an opportunity to combine their tournament visit with other activities, subject to the mall’s opening hours and the venue’s arrangements.

If you are planning to watch the matches, you could arrange a casual outing with friends or family and explore the mall before or after the competition. Pool enthusiasts who are not competing can still make the visit worthwhile by enjoying the live sporting atmosphere and supporting the players.

Participants travelling from outside Skudai should plan their journey in advance, especially if they have an early match or need to check in at a specific time. Confirming the venue’s location, parking arrangements and match schedule beforehand can help avoid unnecessary last-minute stress.

It is also a good idea to contact the organiser for any updates regarding the tournament, including registration availability, competition rules and possible changes to the schedule.
