Looking for a good reason to save on your next grocery shopping trip? Sunshine Retail Penang is bringing shoppers a special one-day offer with its Crazy Thursday promotion on 29 October 2026, giving Sunshine members the opportunity to enjoy selected deals on everyday favourites. Whether you are planning your household grocery budget, stocking up on snacks or shopping for breakfast essentials, this is a promotion worth checking out.
Available exclusively to Sunshine members, the promotion features special prices on MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut and LITTLE FARMER Super Genius Eggs with DHA & Omega 3. Both products can be useful additions to a household shopping list, making this a convenient opportunity for members to pick up selected groceries while the promotional prices are available.
The best part is that shoppers do not need to wait for a major festive sale to enjoy these offers. The Crazy Thursday promotion runs for just one day, so members who are already planning a trip to Sunshine can make the most of their visit by checking out these featured bargains.
Sunshine Crazy Thursday: One Day of Member-Exclusive Savings
Sunshine Retail Penang is known as a grocery shopping destination for customers looking for household essentials, food products and everyday necessities. Its Crazy Thursday campaign gives members an additional reason to visit the supermarket and look out for selected deals.
For this edition, the promotion takes place on Thursday, 29 October 2026, across all Sunshine outlets. Members can look forward to special prices on two featured products, with the MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut 200g priced at RM5.55 per pack and LITTLE FARMER Super Genius Eggs with DHA & Omega 3 available at two packs for RM7.58.
As the promotion is limited to one day, shoppers should plan their visit accordingly. It is also worth remembering that the offers are available while stocks last, so the products may sell out before the end of the day.
For the original announcement and the latest information, visit the official Sunshine Retail Penang Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/100064351617088/posts/1577149427773429/?rdid=wr1mBm4GJ4otP9TC#
1. MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut 200g for RM5.55
The first highlighted deal is MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut 200g, available at RM5.55 per pack during the Crazy Thursday promotion.
For comparison, the stated non-member price is RM6.50 per pack. This means Sunshine members can save RM0.95 on each pack purchased at the promotional price.
That may seem like a modest saving on a single item, but it can still make a difference when shoppers are trying to keep their grocery spending under control. Every ringgit saved on regular purchases can be put towards other household necessities, especially when shopping involves several different products.
Kurma and roasted walnut products can be a convenient choice for people who enjoy having snacks at home. They may also appeal to shoppers looking for something to serve when family members drop by or when friends come over for a casual visit. Having suitable snacks available can make everyday entertaining easier without requiring a separate trip to the shops.
The 200g pack also offers a practical option for shoppers who want to try the product or purchase a manageable quantity rather than commit to a larger pack.
If MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut is already on the household shopping list, this Crazy Thursday offer is a good opportunity to pick it up at a lower price. Members who regularly buy the product may also want to check their pantry before heading out, so they can decide whether one or more packs would be useful.
However, shoppers should remember that the RM5.55 promotional price is subject to the stated membership requirement and stock availability.
2. LITTLE FARMER Super Genius Eggs with DHA & Omega 3: Two Packs for RM7.58
The second featured offer is LITTLE FARMER Super Genius Eggs with DHA & Omega 3, available in a two-pack deal for RM7.58.
Eggs are a familiar grocery staple in many Malaysian households. They can be prepared in numerous ways, making them useful for breakfast, lunch, dinner and quick meals when time is limited. From boiled eggs and omelettes to fried rice and other home-cooked dishes, they offer plenty of flexibility in the kitchen.
This makes the LITTLE FARMER offer worth considering for families who regularly purchase eggs as part of their weekly groceries.
The promotion advertises two packs for RM7.58, compared with the stated non-member price of RM7.50 per pack. Buying two packs at the regular non-member price would cost RM15.00, so the advertised promotional bundle represents a potential saving of RM7.42 compared with that amount.
For shoppers who use eggs frequently, purchasing two packs in one trip may also reduce the need to buy them again immediately. Nevertheless, it is sensible to consider household consumption and storage space before buying, particularly because eggs need to be stored appropriately.
The product is described as containing DHA and Omega 3. These nutrients are commonly associated with nutritional discussions about a balanced diet, but shoppers should check the product packaging for the manufacturer’s full nutritional information if they wish to understand its specific contents.
One important point to note is the pricing comparison. The supplied announcement lists the non-member price at RM7.50 per pack, while the promotional bundle is RM7.58 for two packs. Members should confirm the applicable price and offer conditions with their chosen Sunshine outlet before purchasing, as the stated figures may warrant clarification.
Even so, the advertised bundle is worth checking for households that regularly include eggs in their meal planning.
Why Should You Visit Sunshine Retail Penang on 29 October 2026?
There are several reasons why this Crazy Thursday promotion deserves a place on the shopping calendar.
First, it provides an opportunity to plan grocery spending. Rather than making an extra shopping trip without a list, shoppers can identify the featured products they actually need and combine their purchase with other household essentials.
Second, the deals cover products that may fit into everyday routines. MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut can be considered for snack time, while eggs are a versatile ingredient for preparing meals at home. This makes the promotion relevant to shoppers who prefer practical purchases over buying items simply because they are discounted.
Third, the promotion is available at all Sunshine outlets. Members can check their nearest Sunshine branch rather than travelling to a particular participating location. However, product availability may differ from outlet to outlet, so it is sensible to check with the store if there is a specific item they intend to purchase.
Finally, the one-day format encourages shoppers to plan ahead. Those who already need the featured products can make their way to Sunshine on Thursday and check whether the advertised prices are available. There is no need to buy more than the household requires just to take advantage of a promotion.
Tips for Making the Most of the Crazy Thursday Deals
Before visiting Sunshine Retail Penang, make a short shopping list and decide which of the featured products you genuinely need. Checking the pantry and refrigerator first can help prevent unnecessary purchases and food waste.
Sunshine members should also ensure that their membership details are ready when making payment. Since the promotion is exclusive to members, shoppers should confirm the applicable membership conditions before checking out.
It is advisable to shop earlier in the day if convenient, particularly because the offers are available for one day only and while stocks last. An early visit may give shoppers a better chance of finding the products, although availability cannot be guaranteed.
For the LITTLE FARMER egg bundle, check the displayed shelf price and confirm the final amount at the checkout, especially given the difference between the advertised bundle price and the stated non-member price. For MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut, compare the promotional price with the regular price to see how much the purchase saves.
Most importantly, keep the household budget in mind. A genuine bargain is one that provides value for products you will use, rather than encouraging spending on items you do not need.
Final Thoughts
Sunshine Retail Penang’s Crazy Thursday promotion on 29 October 2026 is a useful opportunity for members to check out selected grocery deals at their preferred Sunshine outlet. With MASSIMO Kurma & Roasted Walnut 200g advertised at RM5.55 per pack and LITTLE FARMER Super Genius Eggs with DHA & Omega 3 offered at two packs for RM7.58, there are two featured products to consider when planning the next grocery run.
The promotion is available for one day only and is subject to stock availability, so interested shoppers should plan their visit accordingly. Before purchasing, remember to verify the membership requirements, product availability and applicable prices with the outlet.
If these products are already part of the household shopping list, Thursday could be a good time to visit Sunshine and see whether the Crazy Thursday offers suit the family’s needs.
