Looking for a good excuse to stock up on books, pick up a few thoughtful gifts or refresh your stationery collection? MPH Bookstores is giving Malaysian shoppers a reason to shop online with its Free Shipping Week promotion, running from 26 to 30 October 2026. During this limited-time campaign, customers can enjoy free shipping across Malaysia on books, gifts and stationery with a minimum spend of RM80.
For anyone who enjoys reading, loves discovering new titles or regularly buys stationery for work, school or personal projects, this is a promotion worth checking out. Delivery charges can sometimes make a perfectly reasonable online purchase feel less worthwhile, especially when ordering just a few items. With this offer, shoppers can make their RM80 purchase go further by saving on shipping while choosing items they genuinely need or want.
The promotion is also a convenient option for those who prefer shopping from home, particularly during the current haze period mentioned in the campaign. Instead of travelling to a bookstore, dealing with traffic or spending time outdoors, customers can browse MPH’s online store and have their purchases delivered to their preferred address.
Enjoy Free Shipping When You Spend RM80
The highlight of MPH Bookstores’ Free Shipping Week is straightforward: shoppers can enjoy free shipping across Malaysia when they spend at least RM80 on eligible books, gifts and stationery.
This is particularly useful for customers who already have a reading list or a few essential purchases in mind. Rather than placing several small orders and potentially paying delivery fees each time, shoppers can combine suitable items into one order to meet the minimum spending requirement.
For example, someone planning to purchase a few books can add another title to their collection, while parents can look for reading materials and stationery for their children. Those shopping for friends or family members can also explore gift options and combine their purchases in a single checkout.
The important thing to remember is that the minimum spend is RM80, so it makes sense to plan the shopping basket before completing the purchase. Customers should also review the promotion’s terms and conditions on the official website to confirm which items qualify and whether any additional restrictions apply.
A Great Opportunity to Add More Books to Your Reading List
If reading is one of your favourite ways to relax, this promotion offers a convenient opportunity to browse for your next great read.
Whether you enjoy fiction, non-fiction, biographies, personal development titles or books that help you learn something new, online shopping makes it easier to explore different options at your own pace. You can take your time comparing titles, checking descriptions and deciding which books deserve a place on your shelf.
It is also a good opportunity to revisit the books you have been meaning to purchase but have postponed. Perhaps there is a new release you want to read, a practical guide that could help with your work or studies, or a novel that has been sitting on your wish list for months.
Families can use the promotion to look for suitable reading materials for children as well. Building a home library does not have to happen all at once, and combining several books into an order may help shoppers reach the minimum spend without buying everything separately.
Of course, the best bargain is not simply buying more because shipping is free. It is choosing books that will actually be read, enjoyed or used. Taking a few minutes to prepare a reading list can help keep spending sensible while making the most of the offer.
Stock Up on Stationery for School, Work and Everyday Use
Books are not the only items worth exploring during MPH Bookstores’ Free Shipping Week. The promotion also covers stationery, making it relevant to students, parents, office workers and anyone who enjoys keeping their workspace organised.
Stationery is one of those everyday essentials that can be easy to overlook until supplies start running low. Notebooks, writing materials and other useful items may be worth adding to your shopping list if you are preparing for upcoming schoolwork, organising your office or planning a new personal project.
Students can use this opportunity to look for supplies that support their studies, while working adults may want to refresh their desk essentials. If you enjoy journalling, planning your week or keeping written notes, browsing the stationery selection could also help you find items that make these habits more enjoyable.
Rather than making several purchases at different times, consider checking what you already have at home and identifying the items you genuinely need. You can then combine eligible stationery purchases with books or gifts to reach the RM80 minimum spend.
This approach helps turn the free shipping offer into a practical saving rather than an excuse to spend unnecessarily.
Find Gifts for Friends, Family and Special Occasions
Another reason to visit MPH’s online store during the promotion is the opportunity to browse its gift selection.
Finding a suitable gift can sometimes be challenging, especially when you want something useful, thoughtful or appropriate for someone with different interests. Books can make meaningful presents for readers, while stationery and other gift items may appeal to students, colleagues, teachers and friends.
You could start preparing for upcoming birthdays, celebrations or year-end occasions by looking for items that suit the people on your gift list. Shopping ahead may also give you more time to compare options rather than making a rushed purchase at the last minute.
If you are buying for several people, combining eligible gifts into one order could help you reach the RM80 minimum while benefiting from free shipping. Just remember to check product availability, delivery estimates and any relevant terms before placing your order, particularly if the gifts are needed by a specific date.
Although the promotion does not automatically mean every item is discounted, free shipping can still provide useful savings when delivery would otherwise add to the total cost.
Shop Comfortably from Home During the Haze
Convenience is another important reason to consider this campaign. MPH Bookstores specifically encourages shoppers to order their favourite reads online and stay comfortable indoors during the haze.
For people with busy schedules, online shopping can save valuable time. There is no need to plan a separate trip to a shopping centre, search for parking or spend time travelling between errands just to pick up books and stationery.
Instead, customers can browse the website whenever it suits them, review their selections and place an order from home. This can be particularly helpful for parents managing family responsibilities, students balancing assignments and working adults who have limited free time.
It also makes it easier to shop for relatives or friends who may appreciate having useful items delivered directly to them, subject to the website’s available delivery arrangements.
As always, customers should check the delivery information provided during checkout and allow enough time for their orders to arrive.
How to Make the Most of MPH Bookstores’ Free Shipping Week
To get the best value from this promotion, it helps to prepare before shopping.
Start by making a list of the books, stationery and gifts you actually need. Next, browse the available selection at MPH’s official online store and compare the items that interest you. If your initial basket is below RM80, consider adding another useful item rather than purchasing something that will go unused.
Before checking out, confirm that your order meets the minimum spending requirement and review the applicable terms and conditions. The campaign announcement states that free shipping applies across Malaysia to books, gifts and stationery with a minimum spend of RM80, but shoppers should verify the detailed eligibility requirements on the website.
Remember that the promotion is available for only five days, from 26 to 30 October 2026. It is worth placing your order within this period if you want to take advantage of the offer.
Why Should You Enjoy This Deal?
MPH Bookstores’ Free Shipping Week is a useful opportunity for Malaysians who already plan to buy books, stationery or gifts. The appeal is simple: meet the RM80 minimum spend on eligible purchases and enjoy free shipping across Malaysia, helping reduce the additional cost of ordering online.
It is especially worthwhile for regular readers, families buying educational materials, students replenishing their supplies and shoppers preparing gifts for people they care about. The convenience of shopping from home is another advantage, allowing customers to browse at their own pace without making a special trip to a physical store.
However, it is always sensible to focus on value rather than spending just to qualify. Compare your options, check the terms and conditions and choose products that suit your needs and budget.
If you have been waiting to order your next few books, replenish your stationery or find a thoughtful gift, this short promotion could be the right time to do it.
Visit mphonline.com between 26 and 30 October 2026, explore the available selection and see what you can add to your shopping basket.
