PTS Book Promotion at Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026: A Great Opportunity for Students to Discover New Reads
Calling all students of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM)! If you enjoy reading, collecting books or searching for something interesting to read between classes, there is a book event worth adding to your calendar this October. Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026 is bringing book lovers together, giving students an opportunity to explore different reading materials and discover their next favourite book.
From 27 to 30 October 2026, PTS will be welcoming visitors to its booth at the book fair, held at Dewan Utama, Fakulti Pengajian Bahasa Utama, USIM. The event will run from 9.00am to 6.00pm daily, making it convenient for students to drop by before classes, during a free period or after finishing their academic commitments.
Rather than spending every break scrolling through social media, why not take some time to browse through books that could introduce new ideas, offer a fresh perspective or simply provide an enjoyable escape from a busy university schedule? Whether reading is already part of your daily routine or you are looking for a reason to start, this book fair is a good opportunity to reconnect with the joy of reading.
Discover Your Next Favourite Book at the PTS Booth
One of the best parts of visiting a book fair is being able to explore different titles in one place. Instead of relying entirely on online recommendations, visitors can take their time browsing the available selection and identifying books that match their interests.
PTS is inviting USIM students and the wider campus community to visit its booth during Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026. It is an opportunity to discover books, explore reading choices and add something new to a personal collection.
Every reader has different interests. Some enjoy stories that transport them into another world, while others prefer books that offer practical knowledge, personal development or fresh perspectives on everyday life. A book fair provides an enjoyable setting to explore these possibilities and find something worth reading.
Students who are unsure what to read next can use the visit as a chance to browse without rushing. You might arrive with a particular title in mind and leave with something completely different that catches your attention along the way.
The exact titles, prices and promotional offers available at the PTS booth have not been specified in the event announcement. Visitors should therefore check the selection and prices at the venue rather than assume that every book will be discounted. Nevertheless, the opportunity to explore the available titles in person makes this event worth considering for anyone who enjoys discovering new reading material.
Why Should USIM Students Visit Pesta Buku Nogori?
University life can be demanding. Between lectures, assignments, examinations and group projects, finding time to relax can sometimes feel difficult. Reading offers a simple way to take a break while doing something enjoyable and worthwhile.
A visit to Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026 gives students an opportunity to step away from their usual routines and spend time exploring books that interest them. Even a short visit can help make reading feel like an enjoyable activity rather than another task on an academic checklist.
Books can also support learning beyond the classroom. While lecture notes and textbooks remain important, reading more widely can introduce students to different viewpoints, improve vocabulary and encourage independent thinking. Depending on the titles chosen, a good book can provide useful knowledge that continues to benefit readers long after they have finished their studies.
For students who already love collecting books, the event is another chance to discover titles that deserve a place on their shelves. For those who are only beginning to develop a reading habit, it can be an approachable way to start building a personal collection.
There is also something enjoyable about browsing books with friends. Instead of visiting the booth alone, students can invite classmates, coursemates or hostel friends to join them. Everyone can explore their own interests, exchange recommendations and discuss interesting discoveries along the way.
Make It a Fun Campus Outing with Friends
A book fair does not have to be a quick shopping stop. It can become a pleasant campus activity that fits naturally into a day at USIM.
Students can arrange to meet their friends at Dewan Utama, browse the PTS booth together and compare the books that catch their attention. Someone might discover a useful non-fiction title, while another might find an engaging story to enjoy during the semester break.
Sharing reading recommendations can also make the experience more rewarding. If a friend has been searching for a particular type of book, you might come across something suitable while exploring the available selection. These small discoveries can turn an ordinary campus visit into a memorable experience.
The event’s four-day schedule offers some flexibility, too. Visitors who cannot make it on Tuesday can consider Wednesday, Thursday or Friday instead. With opening hours from 9.00am to 6.00pm, students can choose a convenient time that works around their lectures and other commitments.
It is sensible to plan your visit ahead of time, especially if you want to browse at a relaxed pace. Arriving with a rough idea of what you want to read can help you make better choices, but leaving room for unexpected discoveries is part of the fun.
Simple Tips for Enjoying the Book Fair on a Budget
For students managing their expenses, a book fair can be an opportunity to make thoughtful decisions about reading purchases. However, enjoying the event does not mean buying every title that looks interesting.
Before visiting the PTS booth, consider setting aside a reasonable budget. Think about whether you want to purchase one book that you have been looking for or several titles that will keep you occupied over the coming weeks.
It can also help to make a short list of subjects or genres that interest you. This gives you a starting point while still allowing you to explore other options. If you discover a book outside your original plan, take a moment to consider whether it suits your interests and budget before making a purchase.
Remember to check the displayed prices and ask about any available promotions. Since specific discounts and special offers have not been confirmed in the announcement, it is best to verify the details directly at the booth.
Another useful tip is to choose books that you genuinely expect to read. A carefully selected title that you finish and enjoy can be more valuable than a large collection of books that remain untouched on a shelf.
Students can also consider exchanging recommendations with friends after the event. Discussing what you have read may encourage everyone to explore more titles and make reading a regular part of campus life.
Four Days to Celebrate Reading at USIM
Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026 is a timely reminder that books still have an important place in student life. They can entertain, educate, inspire and encourage readers to see familiar subjects from a different perspective.
With PTS participating in the event, USIM students have a convenient opportunity to browse the available books without needing to plan a separate trip elsewhere. The campus venue and four-day schedule make it easier to fit a visit into a busy university week.
The best part is that you do not need to be an experienced reader to enjoy the occasion. Whether you read every day, buy books occasionally or are simply curious about what is available, there is value in taking the time to explore.
Mark your calendar for 27–30 October 2026, gather a few friends and head to Dewan Utama, Fakulti Pengajian Bahasa Utama, USIM. Visit the PTS booth between 9.00am and 6.00pm, browse the selection and see whether you can find a book that deserves a place in your collection.
If you are looking for a worthwhile campus activity this October, make Pesta Buku Nogori USIM 2026 part of your plans. You may discover an interesting new title, find inspiration for your next reading project or simply enjoy spending time surrounded by books.
A good book can stay with you long after a fair has ended, so take this opportunity to explore, discover and make reading a little more exciting.
