If upgrading the kitchen has been on the shopping list for a while, now could be a good time to look for bargains on cookware and electrical appliances. SOGO Malaysia is hosting a Tefal Fair at SOGO Shah Alam, offering shoppers the chance to save up to 70% on selected Tefal products. Running until 1 November 2026, the fair is worth a visit for anyone looking to refresh their cooking essentials, replace old kitchen equipment or find practical additions for the home without paying full retail prices.

The event is taking place at the Ground Floor, West Concourse, SOGO Shah Alam. Besides the advertised discounts, shoppers can look forward to additional savings for SOGO Card members, free coupons and gifts with qualifying purchases, as well as special Happy Hour deals scheduled for 23 to 25 October 2026.

With the promotion available for a limited period, this is an opportunity for bargain hunters to compare prices, explore the available products and see whether they can find something useful for their kitchen at a more affordable price.

Save Up to 70% on Selected Tefal Products

The main attraction of the Tefal Fair is the advertised savings of up to 70% off selected cookware and electrical appliances. For households that enjoy cooking at home, having the right equipment can make everyday meal preparation easier, more convenient and more enjoyable.

Tefal is a familiar name in kitchenware, particularly for cookware and appliances designed to help with everyday cooking. Depending on the products available at the fair, shoppers may find suitable options for preparing family meals, making breakfast, cooking quick dinners or handling more elaborate recipes at home.

A cookware upgrade does not necessarily mean replacing everything in the kitchen. Sometimes, a new frying pan, a better cooking pot or a useful appliance is all that is needed to improve the cooking experience. With discounts available during the fair, shoppers can take the opportunity to look for individual items that meet their needs and fit their household budget.

The advertised discount is up to 70%, so it is important to remember that the maximum reduction may apply only to selected products. Actual savings will depend on the item, its original price and the applicable promotional terms. Shoppers should check the displayed prices carefully before making a purchase to determine whether a deal represents good value.

Extra 5% Off for SOGO Card Members

There is another reason to consider visiting the fair, particularly for shoppers who already have a SOGO Card.

According to the promotion announcement, SOGO Card members can enjoy an additional 5% discount. This extra saving could make selected purchases more attractive, especially for shoppers planning to buy several kitchen essentials at once.

For example, someone who has been considering replacing an old frying pan and adding a new kitchen appliance may want to compare the available offers before deciding which products to purchase. If the additional member discount applies to the selected items, it could help reduce the final bill further.

However, shoppers should confirm the conditions of the additional 5% discount with the sales staff, including whether it can be combined with existing promotional prices and which products qualify. Checking these details before paying is a simple way to avoid misunderstandings and make the most of the available savings.

Those who are not SOGO Card members can still explore the fair and check the advertised product discounts. The member-exclusive offer is an additional benefit for eligible shoppers rather than the only reason to visit.

Free Coupons and Gifts with Minimum Purchases

Discounted products are not the only attraction at the Tefal Fair. SOGO Malaysia is also advertising free coupons and gifts with minimum purchases.

This could be an added bonus for shoppers who are already planning to buy something for their kitchen. Instead of making separate shopping trips for different household needs, they can explore the available cookware and appliances and see whether their intended purchases qualify for the promotional rewards.

Before heading to the cashier, it is worth asking about the minimum spending requirement, the gifts available and the conditions attached to the coupons. Shoppers should also check whether the gifts are limited to selected products or quantities.

A free gift can make a promotion more appealing, but the best way to save money is still to focus on products that are genuinely needed. There is little benefit in spending more than planned simply to qualify for a reward. By setting a budget in advance and comparing the available options, shoppers can enjoy the promotion without unnecessary spending.

Look Out for Happy Hour Deals from 23 to 25 October

One of the most interesting parts of this promotion is the special Happy Hour period from 23 to 25 October 2026.

These three days offer an additional reason to visit the fair, particularly for shoppers hoping to find extra bargains. Happy Hour promotions can be attractive because they may feature limited-time offers, making it worthwhile to check what is available during the specified dates.

However, SOGO Malaysia has not provided specific Happy Hour prices or detailed product listings in the supplied announcement. Shoppers should therefore check with the event team or sales staff for the applicable times, participating products and conditions before making a special trip.

If the products on the shopping list are available during this period, planning a visit around the Happy Hour dates could be a sensible way to explore the offers. It is also a good idea to arrive with a clear idea of what is needed, compare the prices and ask whether the advertised discounts can be combined with other eligible benefits.

As these special offers may be subject to availability, shoppers should avoid assuming that every product will receive the same discount throughout the three-day period.

A Practical Shopping Opportunity for Every Household

Kitchen equipment is something many households use regularly, which makes it worth investing in products that suit their cooking habits.

For families preparing meals every day, dependable cookware can be useful for everything from cooking vegetables and frying eggs to preparing dishes for lunch and dinner. For people living independently, a suitable pan or compact appliance may help make home cooking more manageable. Those who enjoy experimenting with recipes may also appreciate the opportunity to look for equipment that supports their favourite cooking methods.

The Tefal Fair provides a convenient place to browse selected cookware and electrical appliances while comparing promotional prices. Rather than buying the first discounted item available, shoppers can take their time to check the features, size, materials and suitability of each product.

It is also worth thinking about how often an item will be used. A practical kitchen purchase should serve a real purpose, fit the available storage space and offer features that match the household’s needs. A discount becomes more meaningful when it is attached to something that will be used regularly.

For anyone moving into a new home, preparing a kitchen for a growing family or replacing worn-out equipment, the fair could be a useful place to start looking for suitable options.

Tips for Getting the Most from the Tefal Fair

Before visiting SOGO Shah Alam, shoppers can make the trip more worthwhile with a little preparation.

First, list the kitchen items that need replacing or upgrading. This helps keep the shopping trip focused and reduces the temptation to buy unnecessary products just because they are on sale.

Second, compare prices where possible. A large advertised discount may look impressive, but the actual amount saved depends on the original and final selling prices. Checking the product specifications and warranty information is equally important, particularly for electrical appliances.

Third, ask about SOGO Card member benefits, minimum spending requirements for free gifts and coupons, and any restrictions on combining offers. These details can affect the final value of the purchase.

Finally, consider visiting during the Happy Hour period from 23 to 25 October 2026 if the special deals are relevant to the planned purchases. As the fair runs until 1 November 2026, shoppers have some flexibility to choose a suitable date, although individual products and promotional gifts may run out earlier.
