The Chicken Rice Shop Deepavali Promotion 2026: Enjoy the Heartwarming Flavours of Ayam Bawang Amma
Deepavali is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends, enjoy delicious food and celebrate the warmth of togetherness. Whether the celebration involves visiting loved ones, sharing a meal after a day of shopping or simply treating the family to something special, good food always has a way of making the occasion more memorable. This year, The Chicken Rice Shop is bringing a taste of nostalgia to the festive season with its promotional Ayam Bawang Amma, available from 12 October until 29 November 2026.
For those who enjoy comforting Malaysian flavours, this promotion is worth checking out during the Deepavali period. The featured dish combines juicy chicken with a rich and flavourful onion curry, creating a hearty meal inspired by the familiar tastes of home cooking. It is the kind of food that makes an ordinary lunch or dinner feel a little more special, especially when enjoyed with people who matter most.
If a visit to LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE is already on the shopping list, this is a good opportunity to plan a meal at The Chicken Rice Shop and enjoy something different from the usual menu choices.
Discover the Comforting Taste of Ayam Bawang Amma
One of the highlights of this Deepavali promotion is Ayam Bawang Amma, a dish that celebrates the comforting flavours associated with traditional home cooking. Its main attraction is the combination of tender, juicy chicken and a rich onion curry that brings depth and flavour to the meal.
Onion-based curries are appreciated for their distinctive savoury taste and the natural sweetness that develops when onions are cooked. Combined with chicken, the result is a satisfying pairing that can appeal to diners looking for a hearty meal with familiar flavours.
The Chicken Rice Shop is presenting this dish as an Amma-inspired recipe, bringing a nostalgic touch to the festive dining experience. The idea is simple but appealing: enjoy a meal that evokes memories of home, family gatherings and the comforting dishes that are often shared around the dining table.
For Malaysians who enjoy discovering different local flavours, Ayam Bawang Amma offers a reason to explore something beyond the usual chicken rice order. Regular customers may already have their favourite dishes at The Chicken Rice Shop, but a seasonal promotion is a chance to try a different flavour combination while celebrating Deepavali.
Make Your Deepavali Outing More Delicious
Deepavali celebrations do not always have to involve a large gathering or an elaborate meal. Sometimes, the best way to enjoy the festive season is to spend quality time with family members, catch up with friends or take a relaxing break during a shopping trip.
A meal at The Chicken Rice Shop can fit naturally into these plans. Visitors exploring LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE can stop by the restaurant for lunch or dinner and make Ayam Bawang Amma part of their festive food experience.
The location is particularly convenient for those who want to combine dining with shopping. Instead of making a separate trip just to enjoy the promotion, visitors can include the restaurant in their existing itinerary. Families can take a break from browsing the shops, while friends can meet for a casual meal before continuing their day out.
It is also an option for anyone who wants to enjoy the Deepavali atmosphere without spending the entire day planning a celebration. A good meal, a little shopping and some time together can make a simple outing enjoyable.
Why You Should Check Out This Promotion
There are several reasons to consider visiting The Chicken Rice Shop during this promotional period.
First, the featured dish gives diners an opportunity to try a different offering inspired by familiar home-cooked flavours. If you appreciate chicken dishes served with rich, savoury sauces, Ayam Bawang Amma may be worth adding to your list of meals to try.
Second, the promotion is available across an extended period, from 12 October to 29 November 2026. This gives visitors several weeks to plan their visit rather than having to squeeze it into a single festive weekend. Whether you are heading to the shopping centre before Deepavali, during the celebrations or later in November, there is more time to arrange a suitable outing.
Third, it provides a simple way to make a routine shopping trip feel more rewarding. Visitors can enjoy the shopping centre’s attractions and then sit down for a meal without needing to travel to another destination.
Most importantly, food is often part of what makes festive occasions meaningful. Sharing a meal allows family members and friends to slow down, talk and enjoy one another’s company. A dish inspired by the nostalgic flavours of home fits naturally into this spirit of togetherness.
Although the source announcement does not specify a discounted price or percentage saving for Ayam Bawang Amma, the promotion still offers an opportunity to discover a featured dish during the Deepavali season. Diners who are particularly interested in the price should check with the restaurant before ordering.
