If there is one simple way to make the weekend a little sweeter without spending too much, it is by taking advantage of a good ice cream deal. For ice cream lovers in Penang, Sunshine Retail Penang has a tempting offer worth checking out this October. Magnolia Mag-A-Cone fans can enjoy a special buy-five deal from 23 to 25 October 2026, making it a great opportunity to stock up on a favourite frozen treat for the family, friends or simply for those moments when a sweet craving strikes.
Instead of paying the usual RM2.90 for each Magnolia Mag-A-Cone, shoppers can buy five for just RM10 during the promotional period. That works out to only RM2 per cone, giving customers a straightforward way to enjoy more ice cream while keeping their spending under control.
Whether vanilla is the flavour that always wins you over or chocolate is your first choice, this weekend promotion is a good excuse to put a little extra sweetness into your shopping plans.
Magnolia Mag-A-Cone Promotion: Five Cones for RM10
The highlight of this promotion is its simple and attractive pricing. Magnolia Mag-A-Cone normally costs RM2.90 each, but customers can enjoy five cones for RM10 during the three-day promotional period.
To put the savings into perspective, purchasing five cones at the normal price would cost RM14.50. With the special offer, shoppers pay only RM10, saving RM4.50 in total.
That is a saving of approximately 31% compared with buying five cones individually at the usual price. For anyone who regularly purchases ice cream for the household, the difference is certainly worth considering.
The offer also makes it easier to pick up a few treats without feeling that every cone adds too much to the shopping bill. At RM2 each, Magnolia Mag-A-Cone becomes an affordable option for a quick dessert, an afternoon snack or a little something to enjoy after dinner.
The promotion runs from Friday, 23 October, until Sunday, 25 October 2026. Since it is available over a weekend, shoppers can plan their visit around their regular grocery shopping or make a special trip to check out the offer.
Vanilla or Chocolate: Which One Will You Choose?
One of the enjoyable things about an ice cream promotion is having an excuse to bring home a few extra treats. Magnolia Mag-A-Cone gives shoppers the choice between two familiar favourites: vanilla and chocolate.
Vanilla is an excellent option for those who enjoy a smooth, creamy flavour that is easy to appreciate at any time of the day. It is a classic choice for people who prefer something simple and comforting.
Chocolate, meanwhile, is ideal for anyone who enjoys a richer cocoa-inspired flavour. If chocolate ice cream is usually the first thing you look for when browsing the freezer section, this offer gives you a chance to enjoy more of your favourite treat for less.
Shopping with family members can make the decision even more interesting. Everyone may have a different preference, so buying five cones allows the household to pick up a selection of flavours, subject to availability at the participating outlet.
It is also a convenient option when shopping for children or preparing snacks for a family gathering. Instead of purchasing individual cones on separate occasions, customers can take advantage of the promotional price and bring home several portions in one go.
Before making a purchase, shoppers should check the available flavours and confirm the applicable promotion terms with Sunshine Retail Penang.
Why This Deal Is Worth Considering
A good bargain is not always about buying the cheapest product available. It is about getting better value for something you already enjoy, and this Magnolia Mag-A-Cone promotion offers precisely that opportunity.
The first advantage is the savings. Paying RM10 for five cones instead of RM14.50 means customers keep RM4.50 in their pockets. Although the amount may seem modest, small savings can add up when shoppers make sensible choices across their regular grocery purchases.
The second advantage is convenience. Having several ice cream cones at home means there is no need to make another trip to the shop whenever someone wants a cold dessert. They can simply take one from the freezer and enjoy it whenever the craving strikes.
The third advantage is that the offer is suitable for sharing. Five cones provide enough portions for a small household or a couple of friends to enjoy together. It can also be a nice way to add a simple dessert to a relaxed weekend at home without spending too much on more expensive treats.
Of course, shoppers who live alone can enjoy the offer too. The cones can be kept in the freezer and enjoyed over several days, provided they are stored according to the product’s instructions and the freezer maintains an appropriate temperature.
There is no need to turn an ordinary weekend into an expensive outing just to enjoy something special. Sometimes, a few affordable treats are enough to make a movie night, a family meal or a quiet afternoon feel a little more enjoyable.
A Sweet Addition to Your Weekend Grocery Shopping
The timing of this promotion makes it particularly convenient for shoppers who usually visit Sunshine Retail Penang over the weekend.
Friday, 23 October, is a good time to pick up the offer before settling in for the weekend. Saturday is another opportunity for families who prefer to do their grocery shopping together, while Sunday gives shoppers one final day to check whether the promotion is still available.
Combining the ice cream purchase with an existing grocery trip may also help save time and transport costs. Rather than travelling specifically for five cones, shoppers can look for the deal while buying household essentials, fresh ingredients or other items on their shopping list.
However, it is always sensible to check the promotion details before visiting. The supplied announcement confirms the promotional dates and pricing, but it does not specify the exact participating outlet address, daily operating hours or stock availability. Customers should contact Sunshine Retail Penang or check its official announcement for confirmation before making a special journey.
As with many limited-period grocery offers, availability may depend on remaining stock. Anyone who particularly wants to enjoy the deal should consider shopping earlier in the promotional period rather than leaving everything until the last minute.
Make the Most of the Magnolia Mag-A-Cone Deal
Before heading out, it helps to have a simple shopping plan. Decide how many cones the household is likely to enjoy, check which flavours are available and remember the special price of RM10 for five.
It is also worth checking the final amount at the checkout and confirming any conditions that may apply. The advertised promotion is based on buying five cones together, so customers should make sure their purchase qualifies for the special price.
Most importantly, avoid buying more than can reasonably be enjoyed. The best bargains are the ones that provide genuine value without encouraging unnecessary spending. If five cones suit the household’s needs, the offer is an easy way to enjoy a familiar frozen treat at a lower price.
For regular Magnolia Mag-A-Cone fans, the savings make this promotion worth a look. For families who enjoy keeping ice cream in the freezer, it offers a convenient opportunity to stock up at a better price. Even shoppers who simply want a small weekend indulgence can appreciate the chance to enjoy a cone for an effective price of RM2.
