Lotus’s Deepavali Promotion 15-20 October 2026: Enjoy Fresh Produce, Grocery Bargains and Free Delivery

Deepavali is a wonderful time to bring family and friends together over delicious food, colourful decorations and meaningful celebrations. However, preparing for the Festival of Lights can also mean spending more on groceries, especially when the shopping list includes fresh vegetables, meat, seafood, fruits and all the ingredients needed to prepare a memorable festive meal. For Malaysian households looking to keep their expenses under control, the Lotus’s Deepavali Pilihan Istimewa Promotion offers an opportunity to shop for selected groceries at attractive prices.

Running from 15 to 20 October 2026, this promotion features a selection of fresh produce, frozen food, meat, seafood and everyday cooking ingredients. There is also a Buy 1 Free 1 offer on strawberry apples, making it worth considering for families who enjoy keeping fresh fruit at home. Customers can shop at participating Lotus’s stores or use Lotus’s Shop Online to arrange grocery delivery, with free delivery promoted as part of the offer.

Whether you are preparing a festive feast, planning a family gathering or simply restocking your kitchen, these deals could help you get more value from your grocery budget.

Pilihan Istimewa: Fresh Produce and Grocery Deals Worth Checking Out

One of the best ways to save money during festive preparations is to plan your meals around ingredients that are available at promotional prices. Lotus’s has several options worth adding to your shopping list, from meat and seafood to vegetables and fruits.

Stock Up on Meat and Seafood

For households planning to prepare rich curries, spicy dishes or traditional family favourites, the imported halal mutton shoulder slices are priced at RM33.99 per kg. Mutton is a useful ingredient for a variety of festive recipes, including mutton curry and slow-cooked dishes served with rice or flatbread.

Seafood lovers can also check out the XXL prawns, with approximately 20 to 30 pieces per kg, priced at RM29.99 per kg. These prawns could be suitable for sambal prawns, stir-fried seafood or other dishes served during family gatherings. If seafood is part of your festive menu, comparing the price per kilogram against your usual grocery purchases can help you decide whether to buy some for the occasion.

For a convenient frozen option, Ayamas Frozen Chicken Drumsticks are available at RM23.99 per 2kg pack. Chicken drumsticks are versatile and can be marinated, roasted, fried or cooked in a spicy sauce. Buying a larger pack may also be practical for households preparing meals for several people.

Another budget-friendly choice is the frozen skin-on squid rings, priced at RM6.99 per 1kg pack. They can be used in fried squid dishes, spicy sambal recipes or quick stir-fries. Having frozen ingredients available can make meal preparation easier, particularly when fresh food shopping needs to be completed ahead of a busy celebration.

Enjoy the Buy 1 Free 1 Strawberry Apple Deal

Fruit is another grocery essential that deserves a place on your shopping list. During this promotion, strawberry apples in a 500g pack are available under a Buy 1 Free 1 offer for RM10.99.

This means customers receive two packs for the stated promotional price, subject to the offer’s terms and stock availability. For families who regularly buy fruit, the deal could be an appealing way to stock up while spending less per pack than purchasing two at the same price individually.

Apples are convenient for lunchboxes, afternoon snacks and serving to visiting relatives. They can also be included in fruit platters when friends and family come over during the festive period.

Customers who prefer grapes can consider the seedless red grapes, priced at RM7.99 per 500g pack. Their convenience makes them suitable for sharing at home or adding to a fruit platter without the hassle of removing seeds.

As with any fresh produce promotion, it is sensible to check the condition and freshness of the fruit before purchasing and to buy quantities that the household can comfortably consume.

Affordable Vegetables for Everyday Cooking

Vegetables are often among the most frequently purchased items during festive cooking, so even small savings can make a difference when preparing several dishes.

Round cabbage from China is priced at RM1.49 per kg, offering an economical option for stir-fries, soups and vegetable side dishes. It can also be paired with other ingredients to make a simple meal more filling without increasing the grocery bill significantly.

For households that enjoy eggplant dishes, both round eggplant and long eggplant are available at RM6.99 per kg. These vegetables can be prepared in different ways, including stir-frying, grilling and cooking with sambal or spices.

Dried chilli is priced at RM15.99 per kg, while old ginger from China is available at RM5.99 per kg. Both ingredients are useful for Malaysian cooking, particularly when preparing spicy sauces, curries, marinades and aromatic dishes. Since dried chilli and ginger are commonly used in small quantities, consider your household’s usual consumption before buying larger amounts.

Fresh lemongrass is another ingredient to look out for. Customers can purchase two bundles for RM5, compared with the listed individual price of RM2.99 per bundle. Lemongrass adds fragrance to curries, soups, marinades and many local recipes, making it a practical ingredient to have in the kitchen.

For smaller households or shoppers who prefer pre-packed vegetables, fresh long beans in a 250g pack are priced at RM2.29, while fresh okra in a 250g pack costs RM1.89. These options are convenient for preparing smaller portions and can help reduce unnecessary food waste.

Before heading to the supermarket, consider listing the dishes you intend to cook and matching them with the ingredients available at promotional prices. This simple step can make grocery shopping more organised and help prevent impulse purchases.

Shop Online and Enjoy Free Delivery

Not everyone has the time to visit a supermarket during a busy festive shopping period. Between work, family responsibilities and other Deepavali preparations, carrying several bags of groceries home can become inconvenient.

Lotus’s Shop Online offers an alternative for customers who would rather order groceries from home. The promotion highlights free delivery to the doorstep, which could be especially useful for shoppers purchasing heavier items or several grocery packs at once.

Customers can explore the online shopping option here: Lotus’s Malaysia Official Website.

Before placing an order, check whether the advertised products are available for your delivery location and whether any minimum-spend requirements, delivery conditions or other restrictions apply. It is also advisable to confirm the final checkout total before completing payment.

For shoppers who prefer choosing their own fresh produce, an in-store visit may be more suitable. Those who prioritise convenience can compare the online selection and delivery arrangements before deciding which shopping method works best for their household.

Why Should You Visit Lotus’s for This Deepavali Promotion?

The main attraction of the Lotus’s Deepavali Pilihan Istimewa Promotion is the variety of groceries included in one promotional period. Instead of focusing on a single product category, shoppers can compare prices across meat, seafood, frozen food, fruits and vegetables.

This makes the promotion useful for households that want to plan several meals around their shopping budget. The strawberry apple Buy 1 Free 1 deal is a highlight for fruit lovers, while the cabbage, okra and long beans offer options for everyday cooking. The frozen squid rings and chicken drumsticks may also help simplify meal preparation when time is limited.

Another reason to consider this promotion is the choice between shopping in-store and ordering online. Customers can choose the approach that best fits their schedules, while the advertised free delivery may offer additional convenience for eligible online orders.

However, a promotion is only worthwhile when the products match your actual needs. Check your pantry and refrigerator first, compare prices where possible, and purchase quantities that your family can use before the food loses its freshness. Pay attention to pack sizes and unit prices so that you can identify the offers that genuinely provide value.

As the promotion is valid for a limited period, shoppers should also avoid leaving their purchases until the last minute. Popular promotional items may sell out before the offer ends, as all items are subject to stock availability.

Make Your Deepavali Shopping More Budget-Friendly

Deepavali celebrations do not have to mean overspending on groceries. With a little planning, shoppers can put together a useful shopping list, take advantage of selected promotional prices and keep their spending focused on the ingredients they need.
