Looking for an affordable treat to brighten up your Wednesday? TGI Fridays Malaysia has something worth adding to your midweek plans. For a limited time, diners can enjoy Fridays™ Cajun Onion Rings for just RM2 during Happy Hour on selected Wednesdays. It is a tempting offer for anyone who enjoys crispy appetisers, casual dining and a little extra value when eating out.

With restaurant meals becoming an opportunity to catch up with friends, spend quality time with family or simply take a break from a busy working week, finding a good food deal can make the experience even more enjoyable. This promotion gives customers a chance to enjoy a popular appetiser at a budget-friendly price, provided they arrive in time to secure the limited daily allocation.

The offer is available on four selected dates between October and November 2026, so diners should plan ahead rather than assume it is available every Wednesday. Here is what you need to know before heading to TGI Fridays Malaysia.

Enjoy Fridays™ Cajun Onion Rings for Just RM2

The highlight of this promotion is the special price of RM2 for Fridays™ Cajun Onion Rings. Instead of paying the usual menu price, customers can take advantage of this limited-time deal during Happy Hour on the designated Wednesdays.

Onion rings are a familiar favourite for good reason. Their crunchy coating and tender onion centre make them an enjoyable appetiser, whether you are sharing a few bites with friends or ordering something to start your meal. The Cajun seasoning adds a flavourful twist, making this an appealing choice for diners who want something savoury to enjoy alongside their other restaurant favourites.

At only RM2 per unit before applicable service charge and Sales and Service Tax (SST), this offer is particularly attractive to customers who like trying restaurant deals without spending too much on an extra dish.

However, there is an important detail to remember: the RM2 price is subject to service charge and SST. The final amount payable may therefore be higher than the advertised price. It is worth checking the applicable charges with the restaurant when ordering.

Mark These Four Wednesdays on Your Calendar

This is not an everyday promotion, so getting the dates right is essential. TGI Fridays Malaysia is offering the RM2 Cajun Onion Rings deal on the following Wednesdays:

• 14 October 2026
• 21 October 2026
• 28 October 2026
• 4 November 2026

These four dates give diners several opportunities to enjoy the promotion, whether they prefer visiting in October or waiting until the first Wednesday of November.

If you already have plans to visit TGI Fridays, you could arrange your meal around one of these dates. Alternatively, consider inviting a friend or family member for a casual midweek catch-up and making the discounted appetiser part of the outing.

Since the offer is restricted to selected Wednesdays, do not leave your visit until a different day expecting the same price. The promotion is specifically tied to the dates announced by TGI Fridays Malaysia.

Why You Should Arrive Early

Here is the catch that bargain hunters should pay attention to: the promotion is limited to the first 50 units per day.

That means there is a daily allocation, and the RM2 offer is not guaranteed to remain available throughout Happy Hour. Once the allocation has been reached, customers arriving later may miss out on the discounted onion rings.

If you are interested in enjoying this deal, it makes sense to plan your visit early during the applicable Happy Hour period. The earlier you arrive, the better your opportunity to order before the daily allocation runs out, although availability is never guaranteed.

You should also remember that this promotion is for dine-in customers only. It is not an offer to rely on for takeaway orders or delivery purchases. Make sure you are prepared to enjoy your food at the restaurant rather than planning to bring the discounted item home.

The exact Happy Hour timing and participating outlet details are not specified in the supplied promotion announcement. Before setting off, contact your preferred TGI Fridays Malaysia outlet to confirm its Happy Hour hours and whether the offer is available there.

A quick check can save you an unnecessary journey, especially if you are travelling with friends or family.

A Small Treat That Makes Dining Out More Enjoyable

One of the best things about a promotion like this is that it allows diners to add something extra to their meal without committing to a large additional expense.

For example, if you are meeting a friend after work, the RM2 onion rings could be a simple appetiser to share before enjoying your main course. Families planning a casual meal can also consider the deal as an affordable extra, provided they keep the table limit in mind.

Even if you are visiting alone, a discounted appetiser can be a nice way to make an ordinary weekday meal feel a little more special.

Food promotions are also a useful reminder to check restaurant offers before deciding where to eat. Rather than choosing a dining destination based solely on habit, looking out for limited-time deals can help you discover opportunities to enjoy familiar favourites at more attractive prices.

Of course, the best value depends on what you actually want to eat. There is no need to order additional dishes simply because something is discounted. If Cajun Onion Rings are already something you enjoy, this offer provides a particularly affordable reason to visit.

Important Terms and Conditions to Remember

Before visiting, take note of the restrictions attached to this promotion. These details can make a difference between enjoying the deal and arriving only to discover that your order does not qualify.

First, the promotion is valid only on 14, 21 and 28 October 2026, and 4 November 2026. It is not an ongoing weekly offer beyond those specified dates.

Second, availability is limited to the first 50 units per day. The advertised price may no longer be available once the daily allocation has been exhausted.

Third, the promotion is strictly for dine-in customers. Customers intending to order takeaway or delivery should not assume that the discount applies to those channels.

Fourth, each table is limited to a maximum of two units. This means you should not expect to order unlimited discounted onion rings for a larger group. If you are visiting with several people, remember that the restriction applies per table.

Finally, the RM2 advertised price is subject to service charge and SST, and additional terms and conditions apply. Check with the restaurant for clarification before ordering if you have questions about eligibility or the final bill.
