Collectors of DIMOO and Pixar-inspired collectibles have something exciting to look forward to as POP MART Malaysia introduces the new MEGA JUST DIMOO PIXAR-Alien collection from 9 October 2026 onwards. The latest release brings together DIMOO’s recognisable character design with a fun cosmic-inspired Pixar-Alien theme, giving collectors two impressive sizes to choose from.
For fans who enjoy larger statement pieces rather than the usual small collectibles, this release is particularly worth checking out. The collection comes in 400% and 700% versions, with each figure featuring a magnetic and detachable plush hood. The 700% edition takes things even further with additional plug-in lights inside the figure’s head, making it an especially eye-catching option for collectors who want something that stands out on a shelf.
This is not a typical small blind-box release that can easily fit into a display cabinet. The MEGA JUST DIMOO PIXAR-Alien figures are designed to make a much bigger visual impact, which makes the launch an interesting opportunity for serious collectors and DIMOO fans in Malaysia.
Two MEGA JUST DIMOO PIXAR-Alien Sizes to Choose From
One of the main attractions of this release is that collectors can choose between the MEGA JUST DIMOO 400% PIXAR-Alien and the larger MEGA JUST DIMOO 700% PIXAR-Alien.
Both versions carry the same playful Pixar-Alien-inspired concept and come with a magnetic and detachable plush hood. This gives the figures an extra layer of character while also allowing collectors to change the look of the piece when displaying it.
The 400% edition is the more widely available of the two. It will be offered at POP MART stores across Malaysia, with the exception of the Sunway Velocity and IOI City Mall Putrajaya outlets.
That wider availability could make the 400% version the more convenient choice for collectors who do not live close to the two locations offering the larger edition. However, availability may still vary, so it is sensible to check with the preferred outlet before making a special trip.
The 400% Version Offers Easier Access
The MEGA JUST DIMOO 400% PIXAR-Alien is likely to appeal to collectors who want a large DIMOO figure without going for the biggest version in the collection.
It comes with the same magnetic and detachable plush hood, giving the figure a fun and distinctive appearance. Because the 400% edition is available at most POP MART stores in Malaysia, collectors have more options when deciding where to look for it.
The important exception is that it will not be available at Sunway Velocity and IOI City Mall Putrajaya. If either of these is your usual POP MART outlet, it is worth taking note of the alternative locations before heading out.
For collectors travelling specifically to purchase this release, checking stock availability in advance can also help avoid an unnecessary journey.
The 700% Version Takes the Display Factor Further
For those who prefer their collectibles to be bigger and more dramatic, the MEGA JUST DIMOO 700% PIXAR-Alien is the standout version.
Alongside the magnetic and detachable plush hood, this larger figure comes with plug-in lights inside the figure’s head. That added lighting feature gives the 700% edition another visual element and makes it particularly suitable for collectors who enjoy creating dedicated display areas at home.
However, the larger version has much more limited store availability. The MEGA JUST DIMOO 700% PIXAR-Alien will only be available at Pavilion KL and The Exchange TRX.
That means collectors specifically looking for the 700% version will need to plan their visit around these two locations. If the larger figure is the one you have been waiting for, these are the POP MART stores to keep in mind from the launch date.
A Limited Release for Serious Collectors
Another important point to remember is the purchase limit. Both the 400% and 700% versions are limited to one piece per person per receipt.
This is something collectors should keep in mind before visiting a store. The purchase restriction means a person cannot simply purchase multiple pieces on the same receipt, so anyone planning to collect the release should be aware of the terms before making a purchase.
As with many highly anticipated collectible launches, availability can also change quickly. A product being available from the launch date does not necessarily mean every outlet will have unlimited stock throughout the promotion period.
For that reason, collectors who have their heart set on a particular size may want to check with the relevant POP MART outlet as early as possible.
Which Version Should You Choose?
The choice between the two versions really comes down to your collecting style, available space and preferred store location.
The 400% version offers wider store availability and still includes the magnetic and detachable plush hood. It could be a practical choice for collectors who want to add a sizeable DIMOO piece to their collection while having more options when it comes to finding an outlet.
The 700% version, meanwhile, is aimed at collectors who want something substantially larger and more dramatic. The addition of plug-in lights inside the head gives it an extra display feature that could make it the centrepiece of a DIMOO or POP MART collection.
Of course, the size difference is also something to consider. A 700% figure can require considerably more display space, so it is worth thinking about where the figure will be placed before purchasing.
Why Should You Go for This Deal?
Although this release is not presented as a conventional discount sale, it is still an interesting opportunity for collectors because of the introduction of a new MEGA JUST DIMOO design in Malaysia.
The combination of DIMOO, the Pixar-Alien-inspired concept, oversized MEGA styling and detachable plush hood gives the collection a distinctive look. The 700% version adds another level of interest with its integrated plug-in lighting feature.
For regular DIMOO collectors, this could be a chance to add a very different piece to an existing collection. For newer collectors, the launch may also be an opportunity to start with a larger statement figure rather than building a collection entirely from smaller pieces.
The different store availability also gives collectors some flexibility. If you are looking for the 400% edition, most POP MART stores are potential destinations apart from Sunway Velocity and IOI City Mall Putrajaya. If the 700% edition is your target, however, the choice is narrowed down to Pavilion KL and The Exchange TRX.
It is also worth considering the release as a potential gift for a serious POP MART or DIMOO fan. A large collectible with distinctive styling can make a memorable addition to a personal display, particularly for someone who already follows MEGA series releases.
Plan Your Visit Before Heading Out
The MEGA JUST DIMOO PIXAR-Alien collection arrives in Malaysia from 9 October 2026 onwards, so collectors can start planning their visits from the launch date.
Before travelling, check the availability of the version you want and make sure you are heading to a participating outlet. Remember that the 400% version is not available at Sunway Velocity and IOI City Mall Putrajaya, while the 700% version is restricted to Pavilion KL and The Exchange TRX.
Most importantly, keep the one-piece-per-person-per-receipt limit in mind.
Whether you prefer the more widely available 400% edition or want to go all out with the illuminated 700% version, the new MEGA JUST DIMOO PIXAR-Alien collection offers something different for collectors looking to make their POP MART display considerably more noticeable.
For DIMOO fans, the combination of the cosmic-inspired Pixar-Alien styling, plush hood and oversized MEGA format makes this a release worth putting on the shopping list. If you have been waiting for a new DIMOO statement piece, 9 October 2026 onwards is the date to remember.
