If you are a Sunshine member and coffee is one of those things you never want to run out of at home, there is a one-day deal worth checking out on 8 October 2026. Sunshine Retail Penang is bringing back its Crazy Thursday promotion with a special member-only offer on Daily Coffee Americano 30g x 20’s, giving members the chance to pick up two packs for just RM29.
At the usual non-member price of RM39.80 for two packs, the promotion works out to a saving of RM10.80. That is a useful reduction for anyone who regularly keeps coffee in the kitchen, especially when the product comes in a 20-sachet pack that can be convenient for everyday use.
The important thing to remember is that this is not a week-long campaign. Crazy Thursday is happening for one day only on 8 October 2026, and the offer is exclusively for Sunshine members. It is also available at all Sunshine outlets, making it easier for members around Penang to take advantage of the deal without having to travel to one particular branch.
A Simple Coffee Deal for Sunshine Members
Coffee is one of those household essentials that can disappear surprisingly quickly. Whether it is part of the morning routine before work, a quick afternoon pick-me-up or something to enjoy while taking a break, having a supply ready at home can save plenty of last-minute trips to the shop.
That is where this Crazy Thursday offer could make sense.
Daily Coffee Americano 30g x 20’s is available at 2 for RM29 during the promotion. Compared with the non-member price of RM39.80, members save RM10.80 when buying two packs. For regular coffee drinkers, stocking up during a discounted promotion can be a practical way to stretch the household shopping budget.
Rather than buying just one pack and returning again soon after, shoppers can take advantage of the two-pack deal while it is available. At RM29 for two packs, the effective cost works out to RM14.50 per pack, which makes the promotion particularly interesting for households where coffee is consumed regularly.
Why the Member Price Is Worth Looking At
The main attraction here is straightforward: members get a lower price than non-members for a product they may already buy regularly.
The normal price listed for two packs is RM39.80, while the Crazy Thursday member price is RM29. That means members can keep RM10.80 in their pockets compared with the regular non-member price.
It may not sound like a huge saving on its own, but grocery savings can add up when shoppers make the most of promotions on products they already need. There is little benefit in buying something simply because it is discounted if it is going to sit unused in the cupboard. Coffee, however, is an everyday item for many people, so this type of offer can be easier to justify.
For anyone who already has Daily Coffee Americano on their regular shopping list, 8 October could be a good day to pick up an extra pack or two.
One Day Means Planning Ahead Matters
The biggest thing shoppers should keep in mind is the timing.
Crazy Thursday is only available on 8 October 2026. There is no indication in the supplied promotion details that the RM29 member price will continue beyond that date, so members who are interested should plan their shopping around the promotional day.
Because the deal is advertised as being available while stocks last, it is also sensible not to leave the purchase until the last possible moment. Popular grocery promotions can attract shoppers who are looking to stock up, and availability may vary between outlets depending on demand.
If coffee is something you are already planning to buy, checking Sunshine on the promotional day could be worthwhile rather than waiting until later.
Available at All Sunshine Outlets
Another convenient part of the promotion is the location.
The Daily Coffee Americano offer is available at all Sunshine outlets. This means Sunshine members do not need to search for a specific participating branch before heading out. Whether you normally shop at a Sunshine outlet close to home, work or your usual grocery route, you can check for the promotional product there.
That makes the offer particularly suitable for a quick grocery run. There is no need to make a special trip across Penang just to chase the deal when the promotion is being offered across Sunshine outlets.
Of course, because the promotion is subject to stock availability, it is still a good idea to check with the outlet if you are making a longer journey specifically for the coffee.
A Good Opportunity to Stock Up
One of the easiest ways to make a grocery promotion worthwhile is to use it for products that will actually be consumed.
With 20 sachets in each pack, buying two packs provides 40 sachets in total. For someone who drinks coffee regularly, that could provide a useful supply for the days and weeks ahead.
The deal could also be handy for households with more than one coffee drinker. Instead of purchasing coffee at the regular price every time the cupboard runs empty, members can use this one-day promotion to build up a little extra stock.
It is worth remembering that stocking up does not mean overbuying. The best approach is to purchase an amount that fits the household’s normal consumption and storage space. If two packs are likely to be used, the RM29 offer provides a practical opportunity to save on the purchase.
Why Should You Go and Enjoy This Deal?
There are three simple reasons Sunshine members may want to consider this Crazy Thursday promotion.
First, the saving is clear. Two packs of Daily Coffee Americano 30g x 20’s are available for RM29 instead of the listed non-member price of RM39.80, giving members RM10.80 in savings.
Second, coffee is a practical everyday product. If it is already part of the household shopping list, getting it during a promotion can be more useful than chasing discounts on items that are not needed.
Third, the offer is available at all Sunshine outlets. That gives members more flexibility when deciding where to shop.
The only catch is the short promotional period. This is a one-day-only deal on 8 October 2026 and is available while stocks last. Members who want to take advantage of the price should therefore treat Thursday as the day to shop rather than assuming the same offer will still be available later.
For Sunshine members in Penang who enjoy having coffee ready at home, this is a simple grocery bargain worth adding to the shopping list. At RM29 for two packs, it offers a straightforward saving on a familiar everyday item, without requiring shoppers to buy an unnecessarily large quantity.
If the coffee is already a household favourite, Crazy Thursday could be a good excuse to replenish the cupboard while paying less. Just remember to bring along the necessary Sunshine membership details and check the participating outlet for stock availability.
