If eggs are already part of the weekly grocery list, 9 October 2026 could be a very good day to stock up. QL Eggs is marking World Egg Day with a special campaign designed to bring more goodness to Malaysian households, and the promotion comes with two different ways for shoppers to enjoy extra value.
The campaign, themed around “2X Goodness” with Omega-3 and DHA, is giving Malaysians the chance to get QL Eggs at an even better deal. There will be 100,000 QL eggs given away for free at selected locations, while shoppers at participating Lotus’s, Everrise and CKS Supermarket outlets can also enjoy a Buy 1 Free 1 offer on selected QL Eggs 15’s.
For families who regularly buy eggs for breakfast, lunch, baking or everyday cooking, this is the sort of grocery promotion worth knowing about before heading to the supermarket.
100,000 QL Eggs Available for Free
The biggest highlight of the World Egg Day celebration is the distribution of 100,000 QL eggs for free. This special giveaway will take place from 11.00am onwards on Friday, 9 October 2026, across selected locations in both West Malaysia and East Malaysia.
However, shoppers should not treat this as a normal supermarket giveaway where they can simply arrive whenever convenient. The free eggs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and only while stocks last.
Each person is limited to one pack of six eggs, making the offer particularly attractive for individuals who happen to be shopping at one of the participating locations that morning.
In West Malaysia, the selected locations are Lotus’s Cheras in Selangor, Lotus’s Kota Bharu in Kelantan, Lotus’s Indera Mahkota in Kuantan, Lotus’s E-Gate in Penang and Lotus’s Bukit Indah in Johor Bahru.
For shoppers in East Malaysia, the free egg distribution will be available at CKS Lido Square in Sabah and Everrise Vivacity in Sarawak.
Since supplies are limited, anyone hoping to get the free six-pack should plan ahead rather than waiting until later in the day.
A Buy 1 Free 1 Deal for QL Eggs 15’s
The second part of the World Egg Day campaign could be even more useful for regular grocery shoppers. QL Eggs is offering a Buy 1 Free 1 promotion on QL Eggs 15’s at participating Lotus’s, Everrise and CKS Supermarket outlets nationwide.
In simple terms, shoppers who purchase one qualifying pack of QL Eggs 15’s can receive another pack of the same variant for free.
This is a straightforward way to get more eggs for the same purchase, which can make a noticeable difference to the grocery bill, particularly for households that go through eggs quickly.
The promotion applies to all QL Eggs 15’s variants. However, there is an important condition to remember: the free pack must be the same variant as the pack purchased.
There is also a limit to the Buy 1 Free 1 promotion. Each outlet is limited to 100 sets, and the offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
That means shoppers should not assume the promotion will remain available throughout the day. If getting the Buy 1 Free 1 deal is the main reason for making the trip, arriving earlier would be the safer choice.
Why This Is a Good Grocery Deal
Eggs are one of those everyday ingredients that rarely stay in the kitchen for long. They can become breakfast in minutes, be added to fried rice or noodles, used in sandwiches, turned into omelettes, or included in cakes and other baked treats.
That is why promotions on everyday groceries can sometimes be more useful than discounts on occasional purchases. When the product is something the household already buys, getting extra at no additional cost can help stretch the grocery budget.
The QL Eggs World Egg Day promotion offers two different opportunities depending on where shoppers are heading. Those visiting the selected giveaway locations can try to claim a free six-pack, while shoppers at participating Lotus’s, Everrise and CKS Supermarket outlets can look out for the Buy 1 Free 1 deal on QL Eggs 15’s.
For families, this could be a practical opportunity to pick up additional eggs for the days ahead. For individuals living alone or couples, it may also be useful if they regularly cook at home or use eggs for baking.
The World Egg Day connection also gives shoppers a chance to think about the nutritional value of eggs. QL Eggs is highlighting Omega-3 and DHA as part of its “2X Goodness” campaign, making the promotion about more than simply getting a cheaper grocery item.
Plan Your Shopping Trip Carefully
The most important thing to remember is that both offers have limited availability.
For the 100,000 free eggs giveaway, shoppers can collect one pack of six per person, and distribution starts from 11.00am on 9 October 2026. Once the allocated stock is gone, the giveaway will be over.
The Buy 1 Free 1 offer is also limited, with only 100 sets available per outlet. The free pack must match the variant purchased, and the promotion is also subject to availability.
Because of these restrictions, it makes sense to check the participating outlet before making a special journey. It is also worth getting there early if the promotion is particularly appealing, especially at busy supermarket locations.
Another reason to plan ahead is that shoppers may already be making a regular grocery trip that day. Instead of making a separate journey just for the promotion, the offer can be combined with the weekly supermarket shop.
A Simple Way to Make the Most of World Egg Day
There is something appealing about a promotion that focuses on a product most households already understand and use. There are no complicated redemption steps or lengthy procedures to work through. The key is simply knowing where the promotion is available, arriving in time and following the stated terms.
For the free egg giveaway, the selected venues in West and East Malaysia provide several opportunities for shoppers to participate. Meanwhile, the Buy 1 Free 1 offer gives shoppers at participating Lotus’s, Everrise and CKS Supermarket outlets nationwide another way to enjoy extra value.
If eggs are already on the shopping list, 9 October could therefore be a good opportunity to buy more while spending less.
Overall, QL Eggs’ World Egg Day campaign is one worth putting on the grocery calendar. Whether the goal is to try for a free six-pack or take advantage of the Buy 1 Free 1 promotion, the campaign gives Malaysian shoppers a practical reason to visit participating supermarkets.
Just remember the golden rule for limited promotions: first come, first served. The earlier the trip, the better the chance of enjoying the deal before the allocated stock runs out.
