Planning a family day out in Johor? If LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has been sitting on the family wish list, this latest ticket promotion could be a good reason to finally make that trip happen. From 5 October until 31 December 2026, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is offering a BUY 1 GET 1 FREE promotion on selected 1-Day tickets, giving visitors a chance to bring another person along without paying for a second ticket of the same category.
The offer is particularly interesting for families, couples and friends travelling together because the promotion is straightforward. Buy one eligible full-price 1-Day ticket and receive another ticket of the same category for free. Even better, the promotional tickets are open-dated, so there is no need to lock in a specific visit date at the time of purchase.
According to the promotion details, tickets purchased under this offer can be used for one visit within six months from the date of purchase. That gives shoppers some breathing room to organise a weekend trip, school holiday outing or family getaway to Iskandar Puteri.
A Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Deal Across Several Ticket Options
One of the best things about this promotion is that it is not limited to just the Theme Park. There are several selected 1-Day ticket categories available, depending on how much of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort visitors want to experience.
For the 1-Day Theme Park, the listed promotional price is RM205 for an adult and RM175 for a child or senior. Under the Buy 1 Get 1 FREE offer, buying one eligible adult ticket at RM205 gives another adult Theme Park ticket free.
That means two adults can visit the Theme Park for RM205 in total, rather than paying RM410 for two tickets at the listed price.
For families who love water attractions, the 1-Day Water Park option is also available. Adult tickets are listed at RM149, while child or senior tickets are RM129. Buy one eligible ticket and the second ticket of the same category is free.
There is also a 1-Day Double-Park ticket covering the Theme Park and SEA LIFE. The promotional price is RM285 for an adult and RM225 for a child or senior. This could be a useful option for visitors who want more than just the rides and attractions at the main Theme Park.
Then there is the option for those who want to make the most of their LEGOLAND visit: the 1-Day Triple-Park ticket. This covers the Theme Park, Water Park and SEA LIFE, with listed prices of RM345 for adults and RM285 for children or seniors.
With the Buy 1 Get 1 FREE promotion, two adults could therefore enjoy the Triple-Park experience for RM345 in total, provided both tickets meet the promotion’s requirements.
How Does the Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Offer Work?
The idea is simple, but it is worth understanding the same-category requirement before buying.
For example, two adults planning to visit the Theme Park could purchase one eligible adult Theme Park ticket for RM205. The second adult Theme Park ticket is then provided free under the promotion.
Likewise, if two adults want the Triple-Park experience, purchasing one eligible adult Triple-Park ticket for RM345 means the second adult receives a Triple-Park ticket free.
The important point is that the free ticket must be the same category as the qualifying full-price ticket. So, shoppers should not assume that buying one Theme Park ticket allows the free ticket to be changed into a Water Park or Triple-Park ticket.
For people who already have a travel companion confirmed, this can make the numbers much more attractive than purchasing two separate tickets.
Open-Dated Tickets Give You More Flexibility
Another reason this promotion stands out is the open-dated ticket arrangement.
Not everyone can immediately decide which weekend to visit. Work schedules, school activities, family commitments and weather can all affect travel plans. With these promotional tickets, visitors do not have to choose a particular park date when making the purchase.
Instead, the ticket can be used for one visit within six months from the purchase date.
That said, this flexibility should not be confused with unlimited validity. The six-month period begins from the date of purchase, so it is sensible to have a rough idea of when the trip will happen before buying.
For example, someone purchasing the ticket during October should make sure the LEGOLAND visit can take place within the applicable six-month validity period.
What About Toddlers?
Families with very young children also have something to consider when planning the trip. Children under three years old are admitted free for eligible day-ticket admission.
For families visiting the Water Park, toddlers under three are required to wear a waterproof swim diaper when entering the water attractions.
This can make the outing a little easier for parents with younger children, although families should still check the latest admission requirements and attraction rules before heading to the resort.
Why Should You Go for This Deal?
The biggest reason to consider this promotion is the potential saving when two people are travelling together.
Theme parks can become an expensive family outing when several admission tickets are involved. A Buy 1 Get 1 FREE offer effectively means that two eligible visitors can share the cost of one full-price ticket, making it easier to justify spending a full day at the resort.
The promotion can also be useful for couples looking for a fun weekend activity, friends planning a day trip to Johor, or parents who want to give the children a proper theme park experience without paying for every ticket separately.
The Triple-Park option is particularly worth considering for visitors who want to spend more time at the resort. Instead of choosing between rides, water attractions and SEA LIFE, the ticket combines all three experiences.
And because the tickets are open-dated, there is less pressure to organise the entire trip around a specific date immediately after purchasing.
Of course, the best value depends on how much of the resort visitors actually plan to use. Someone who only wants the rides may find the Theme Park ticket sufficient, while families who love water activities could get more enjoyment from the Triple-Park option.
A Few Things to Check Before Buying
There are several important conditions to remember. The promotion is an online ticketing exclusive, and the offer is stated to be available to Malaysian citizens and long-term residents who meet the eligibility requirements.
The free ticket must be from the same ticket category as the qualifying purchased ticket. The promotion also cannot be combined with other discounts, rebates or promotions.
It is also sensible to check the latest ticket prices, availability, park operating hours and terms before completing the purchase. Promotions can be updated, and operating schedules may change.

Time to Plan That LEGOLAND Trip
For anyone who has been saying that a LEGOLAND Malaysia trip would be fun but has been putting it off because of the cost, this Buy 1 Get 1 FREE promotion is certainly worth a look.
Two people can potentially enjoy the same ticket category for the price of one, while the open-dated arrangement provides some flexibility when planning the visit. Whether the plan is a family day out, a couple’s weekend activity or a trip with friends, the promotion offers a chance to get more value from the admission budget.
The promotion runs from 5 October to 31 December 2026, so there is still time to consider the options and choose the ticket category that best suits the group.
Just remember that the six-month validity starts from the purchase date, and the offer is subject to its eligibility requirements and terms.
For bargain hunters, this is the kind of promotion worth checking before buying two individual tickets. If two eligible people are already planning to visit LEGOLAND Malaysia together, paying for one and receiving the second ticket free could make the whole outing considerably more appealing.
Promotion period: 5 October-31 December 2026. Ticket prices, availability, operating hours and promotional terms may change, so check the official LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort website before purchasing and again before visiting.
