Looking for a new smartphone without stretching the budget too far? TMT Malaysia is currently running a limited-time promotion for the vivo V80 Lite 5G, giving shoppers an opportunity to pick up the phone at a promotional price from RM1,399, together with free gifts and an additional RM100 cash rebate.
The promotion is only available from 1 to 11 October 2026, so shoppers who have been planning to replace an ageing phone may want to take note of the short promotional period. With only 11 days available in total, this is the kind of offer that is worth checking early, particularly because the promotion is subject to terms and conditions and the free gifts are available while stocks last.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G is positioned as a smartphone for people who want a combination of battery life, durability, display quality and 5G connectivity. For shoppers who use their phones heavily throughout the day, these are practical features that can make a difference, whether the phone is being used for work, entertainment, social media, photography or staying connected with family and friends.
Get the vivo V80 Lite 5G from RM1,399
The headline deal is certainly the promotional price. The vivo V80 Lite 5G is available from RM1,399 during the promotion, making it an option worth considering for anyone already looking at a smartphone upgrade.
But the deal does not stop at the phone’s promotional price.
Eligible shoppers can also enjoy an extra RM100 cash rebate, subject to the promotion’s terms and conditions. That makes the offer more attractive for anyone who has already decided that it is time for a new handset.
A cash rebate can also make a difference when budgeting for a phone purchase. Instead of simply receiving a reduced promotional price, shoppers can potentially enjoy an additional saving through the rebate, depending on the applicable terms.
It is worth checking the full promotion conditions before completing a purchase so that there are no surprises regarding eligibility or redemption.
Free gifts worth RM199
Another reason to take a closer look at this TMT Malaysia promotion is the package of free gifts.
The promotion includes free gifts worth RM199, featuring a selection of useful everyday accessories:
- Backpack
- V Selection Earbuds
- Card Holder
For someone buying a new smartphone, accessories can quickly add to the overall cost. Having several useful items included as promotional gifts means shoppers may not need to spend as much separately on basic accessories.
The backpack could come in handy for carrying the phone and other everyday belongings, while the earbuds provide a convenient option for listening to music, watching videos or taking calls. The card holder is another practical addition for everyday use.
Of course, shoppers should check the latest availability and terms with TMT Malaysia, as promotional gifts are stated to be available while stocks last.
A huge 10,000mAh battery
One of the standout specifications highlighted in the promotion is the 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery.
Battery life is one of those smartphone features that becomes especially important when the phone is used throughout a busy day. Constant messaging, video streaming, navigation, social media, photography and mobile browsing can all contribute to battery drain.
A large-capacity battery can therefore be particularly appealing to people who prefer not to keep searching for a charger during the day. It can also be useful for shoppers who spend a lot of time away from home or regularly travel between work, school and other activities.
For heavy smartphone users, battery capacity is certainly one of the specifications worth considering when comparing different phones.
Designed for greater durability
The vivo V80 Lite 5G also comes with IP68 and IP69 water resistance, according to the promotional information.
That is another feature that may appeal to people who want a phone designed with everyday durability in mind. Phones are exposed to plenty of situations throughout the day, from unexpected splashes and wet weather to accidental encounters with dust and other environmental conditions.
The phone is also promoted with military-grade durability, adding another layer of appeal for shoppers who tend to be hard on their devices.
While durability features can provide additional protection, they should not be treated as a reason to deliberately expose a smartphone to extreme conditions. It is still sensible to handle the device carefully and follow the manufacturer’s guidance.
Enjoy the 1.5K high-brightness OLED display
For people who spend plenty of time watching videos, browsing social media or viewing photos on their phones, the display is another important consideration.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G features a 1.5K high-brightness OLED display, giving shoppers another reason to consider the phone beyond its battery capacity.
A high-quality display can make everyday activities more enjoyable, particularly when watching films, browsing images, reading content or simply scrolling through social media. For shoppers who use their smartphone as an entertainment device as much as a communication tool, screen quality can be just as important as storage, battery life and performance.
Why should shoppers check out this promotion?
There are several reasons why the TMT Malaysia vivo V80 Lite 5G promotion deserves a closer look.
First, the phone starts from RM1,399, giving shoppers a clear promotional price to consider. Secondly, there is an extra RM100 cash rebate, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. On top of that, the promotion includes free gifts worth RM199.
When these elements are put together, shoppers are not simply looking at a phone purchase. They are also getting the opportunity to receive additional promotional value through the rebate and bundled gifts.
The phone itself also brings several features aimed at everyday users, including a large 10,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, IP68 and IP69 water resistance, military-grade durability and a 1.5K high-brightness OLED display.
For anyone who has been putting off a phone upgrade because of the cost, a limited-time promotion can be a good reason to compare the numbers and see whether the deal fits the budget.
