If Malaysian flavours are a regular part of the family menu, October is a good time to stock up on some familiar Dollee favourites. A special promotion is running at Jaya Grocer throughout the month, giving shoppers the chance to get an extra Dollee product free when they purchase two selected Dollee bottles.
The offer is straightforward: buy any two Dollee bottles and receive one 200g packet of Dollee Assam Seafood Paste absolutely free. With the promotion available at Jaya Grocer outlets nationwide, it is an opportunity to replenish pantry staples while getting something extra to take home.
The promotion runs from 1 to 31 October 2026, or while stocks last, so shoppers who already know they will be using these products may want to visit earlier rather than leaving their purchase until the final few days of the month.
A Simple Buy 2, Get 1 Free Deal
There is something particularly useful about a grocery promotion when the products are things that can actually be used in everyday cooking. Rather than buying something simply because it is discounted, this Dollee offer focuses on pantry-friendly products that can help make familiar Malaysian dishes easier to prepare.
For this promotion, shoppers can choose any two qualifying Dollee bottles from the participating selection. These include Nasi Lemak Sambal, Sambal with Shrimps, Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste, Tom Yum Paste and Crispy Prawn Chilli.
After purchasing two bottles, shoppers will receive one packet of Dollee Assam Seafood Paste weighing 200g for free.
That extra packet could come in handy for a quick seafood meal, while the other Dollee products can be kept in the pantry for those days when cooking from scratch feels like too much work.
Plenty of Familiar Flavours to Choose From
One of the appealing things about this offer is the variety of flavours available. Different households have different favourites, so shoppers can pick the products that best suit their cooking habits.
The Nasi Lemak Sambal is an obvious choice for anyone who enjoys the familiar spicy accompaniment associated with one of Malaysia’s best-loved dishes. It can be served alongside nasi lemak or used to add extra flavour to other rice and noodle dishes.
For seafood lovers, the Sambal with Shrimps brings a richer taste to the table. It can be paired with rice, vegetables or other dishes when a stronger sambal flavour is wanted.
The Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste is another convenient pantry option. Preparing a favourite dish at home does not always have to involve collecting numerous ingredients, especially when a ready-to-use paste can help simplify the cooking process.
Those who enjoy something with a little more heat may want to look at the Tom Yum Paste, which can be useful for preparing a comforting bowl of tom yum at home. Meanwhile, Crispy Prawn Chilli provides another option for anyone who enjoys the combination of chilli and seafood flavours.
With five different options highlighted in the promotion, shoppers have some flexibility when deciding which two bottles to purchase.
Why This Is Worth Checking Out
For regular Dollee shoppers, the biggest attraction is obvious: purchasing two bottles comes with an additional 200g packet of Assam Seafood Paste at no extra cost. That means the promotion can be especially useful for people who were already planning to buy Dollee products during October.
It is also a practical opportunity for families to refresh their pantry. Sauces, sambal and cooking pastes can be useful for quick weekday meals, particularly when there is not enough time to prepare every component from the beginning.
The free Assam Seafood Paste also gives shoppers a chance to try another Dollee product without having to pay separately for it. If it becomes a new favourite, it could make a future shopping trip even easier.
Another reason to consider this offer is the timing. The promotion covers the entire month of October, making it relatively easy to fit into a normal grocery-shopping trip. There is no need to make a special journey solely for the promotion if a Jaya Grocer outlet is already part of the regular shopping routine.
A Handy Pantry Stock-Up for Malaysian Cooking
One of the best ways to make grocery promotions work is to concentrate on products that will genuinely be used. For households that regularly prepare Malaysian or Asian dishes, these Dollee products can be useful additions to the kitchen cupboard.
Keeping sambal and cooking pastes available can also make meal planning more flexible. A simple meal can be given more flavour without requiring a long list of additional ingredients.
The promotion could therefore be useful for busy parents, working adults, students living away from home, or anyone who simply enjoys having convenient Malaysian flavours within easy reach.
It may also be worth considering when shopping for the whole family. Instead of choosing two identical products, shoppers can mix and match from the eligible selection, depending on the applicable promotion terms. That makes it easier to pick products for different tastes.
Available at Jaya Grocer Outlets Nationwide
The Dollee promotion is available at all Jaya Grocer outlets nationwide, subject to stock availability and the applicable terms and conditions.
Since promotional stock can vary between outlets, shoppers should not assume that every flavour will remain available throughout the entire month. Anyone particularly interested in the free Assam Seafood Paste may prefer to shop earlier rather than waiting until the end of October.
For those who prefer shopping online, the promotion information also highlights GrabMart as an option. Shoppers can check the available Dollee products through GrabMart and arrange their grocery purchase online.
GrabCoins can also be earned when eligible Jaya Grocer members pay in-store using cash, debit or credit card, or GrabPay. This provides another reason for existing Jaya Grocer members to consider making their regular grocery purchase during the promotion period.
Why Go and Enjoy This Deal?
At the end of the day, this is the sort of grocery promotion that makes sense when the products are already part of the shopping list. Instead of buying something unnecessary simply because it is on offer, shoppers can choose two Dollee pantry favourites and receive an additional packet of Assam Seafood Paste for free.
That can mean more ingredients for future meals, more Malaysian flavours in the pantry and one less item to purchase separately.
It is also a convenient excuse to experiment with different dishes at home. A bottle of sambal, a cooking paste and the complimentary Assam Seafood Paste can each be used in different meals, giving a household more options when planning what to cook during the week.
So, if a trip to Jaya Grocer is already on the calendar this October, it is worth checking the Dollee section before completing the grocery run. Pick two qualifying Dollee bottles, take advantage of the free 200g Assam Seafood Paste and enjoy the convenience of having a few familiar Malaysian flavours ready for the next home-cooked meal.
As with any promotional offer, availability is subject to stock and terms and conditions, so shoppers should check with their nearest Jaya Grocer outlet for the latest details.
