Looking for a more affordable way to upgrade the internet connection at home? A new broadband promotion from YES may be worth checking out, especially for households that want faster connectivity without having to spend a large amount upfront on equipment.
From 1 October 2026 onwards, YES is offering its home broadband service at RM68 per month, together with some useful extras that could make the package more attractive for new customers. The promotion includes FREE ILMUchat Pro and a FREE premium router worth RM1,199, giving customers the opportunity to get more value from their home internet subscription.
For many Malaysian households, a reliable internet connection is no longer simply a nice extra. It has become part of everyday life. From working from home and attending online meetings to streaming films, studying, gaming, shopping and keeping in touch with family, having a dependable connection can make a noticeable difference to the way a household operates.
That is why promotions such as this can be worth a closer look, particularly for anyone who is already considering changing their home broadband provider or setting up a new connection.
Fast Home WiFi Starting From RM68 Monthly
The headline of the YES promotion is fairly straightforward: customers can sign up for home WiFi for RM68 per month.
Rather than looking only at the monthly price, however, it is also worth considering what comes with the package. The promotion includes access to Uncapped 5G Advanced data and speed, which is designed for customers who want to use their home connection for a wide range of online activities.
An uncapped data offering can be particularly useful for busy households. Modern internet usage can quickly add up, especially when several people are connected at the same time. One person might be watching a high-definition video while another is working online, attending a virtual class or downloading large files.
With more devices being connected to the internet than ever before, having a home connection that can handle regular daily use is becoming increasingly important.
A Premium Router Worth RM1,199 Included
One of the more noticeable parts of this promotion is the FREE premium router worth RM1,199.
For anyone setting up home broadband, the router is an important part of the overall experience. It is the device that helps distribute the internet connection around the home, allowing phones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs and other connected devices to get online.
The inclusion of a premium router can therefore make the promotion more interesting for customers who do not already have suitable equipment at home.
Instead of having to separately look for a router, compare different models and consider an additional purchase, eligible customers can receive the promotional router as part of the offer. For households that are already planning to upgrade their internet setup, this could make the overall package more convenient.
Of course, customers should check the full terms and conditions with YES before signing up, including any eligibility requirements and the specific details of the router provided under the promotion.
FREE ILMUchat Pro Adds Another Benefit
The promotion does not stop with the broadband connection and router. YES is also offering FREE ILMUchat Pro as part of the deal.
For customers who are interested in using online tools for learning, communication or everyday digital activities, having an additional service included with the broadband package could add further value.
It is always useful to look beyond the headline monthly subscription price when comparing broadband offers. The additional services included in a promotion can sometimes make a meaningful difference to the overall package, particularly when they are services that a customer would otherwise consider paying for separately.
This is one reason why the YES offer could be worth exploring rather than simply comparing broadband plans based on monthly price alone.
Why This Promotion Could Be Useful for Families
Families are among the households that may benefit from having a stronger home internet setup.
Think about a typical evening at home. Someone may be watching a streaming service on the television, another family member could be using a laptop for work, while children are completing homework or attending online lessons. Smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and smart home devices may also be connected at the same time.
Internet usage can become demanding when all these activities happen together.
The YES promotion gives customers the opportunity to combine a home WiFi service with an included premium router and ILMUchat Pro, all starting from RM68 per month. For people looking for a new home internet option, that combination may be worth considering.
A Useful Option for Remote Workers
Working from home has also changed the way many people think about their internet connection.
A slow or unreliable connection can become frustrating when someone is trying to join a video meeting, upload files, access cloud-based applications or communicate with colleagues. A more suitable home broadband setup can make these everyday tasks easier to manage.
The availability of 5G Advanced connectivity may also appeal to customers who want a modern broadband option without relying solely on traditional fixed-line arrangements.
Anyone who regularly works remotely can therefore take a closer look at the offer and consider whether its connection and equipment are suitable for their particular home environment.
What About the 7-Day Return Policy?
Another point highlighted in the promotion is the 7-day return policy, described as making the offer risk-free.
This can provide some reassurance to customers who may be uncertain about trying a new broadband service. However, customers should still read the applicable terms and conditions carefully before signing up so they understand how the return policy works, including any requirements, exclusions or conditions that may apply.
It is always better to know exactly what is covered before completing a subscription.
Should You Consider Signing Up?
For anyone currently looking for a home internet upgrade, the YES promotion is certainly one to put on the comparison list.
The combination of RM68 monthly pricing, Uncapped 5G Advanced data and speed, a FREE premium router worth RM1,199 and FREE ILMUchat Pro gives customers several elements to consider in one package.
The offer could be particularly interesting for households that need a new router, people moving into a new home, remote workers who depend heavily on internet access, students who require regular online connectivity, or families with multiple connected devices.
Rather than rushing into a subscription simply because a promotion looks attractive, it makes sense to consider the coverage available in the area, the expected usage, the full contract terms and the conditions attached to the promotional benefits.
Why Check Out the YES Promotion?
The biggest reason to take a look is the potential value packed into the offer. A monthly broadband price of RM68 is easier to understand when customers also consider the included promotional benefits.
The premium router alone is advertised as being worth RM1,199, while ILMUchat Pro provides an additional service without a separate promotional charge. Combined with the advertised Uncapped 5G Advanced data and speed, the package is designed for people who want their home internet to support a variety of everyday needs.
The promotion is available from 1 October 2026 onwards, so anyone interested can check the offer online and review the latest terms before signing up.
For households that have been putting off an internet upgrade because of equipment costs or concerns about changing providers, this could be a good opportunity to compare what is available and see whether YES fits their needs.
