Deepavali is a time when many people give their homes a little extra attention, whether that means carrying out a full makeover, refreshing a tired-looking room or simply adding a new splash of colour to the walls. If a home improvement project has been sitting on the to-do list because of concerns about the cost of paint and decorating supplies, the Colour Splash Sale at Mr. Paint Shop could be worth checking out.
Running from 2 October to 8 November 2026, the Deepavali Edition of the Colour Splash Sale brings a selection of promotional deals to participating Mr. Paint Shop outlets in Taman Sentosa, Balakong and Kapar. The promotion includes selected 18L paint from RM80, paint brushes for just RM1 and discounts of up to 50% on selected paint.
For anyone planning to repaint before Deepavali, this is the sort of promotion that could make a home improvement project easier on the wallet.
Give Your Home a Fresh Look for Less
Painting is one of those home improvement jobs that can make a surprisingly noticeable difference. A room does not necessarily need new furniture or a major renovation to feel different. Sometimes, changing the wall colour is enough to make the space look cleaner, brighter and more welcoming.
The difficulty is that the cost can quickly add up when buying paint, brushes, rollers and other decorating supplies. That is why promotions offering savings on the basics can be useful, especially for anyone who already has a repainting project in mind.
During the Mr. Paint Shop Colour Splash Sale, selected 18L paint is available from RM80. For larger painting jobs, buying a bigger container can be more practical than purchasing several smaller tins. However, shoppers should take note that the RM80 offer applies to selected colours only, so it is worth checking the available choices at the participating outlet before deciding on a particular shade.
The promotion also gives customers another interesting bargain: paint brushes for RM1, with a limit of one piece per customer. At that price, it can be an inexpensive opportunity to pick up a basic painting tool while shopping for paint.
Up to 50% OFF Selected Paint
If the colour or type of paint needed is not included in the 18L from RM80 offer, there is another reason to visit the sale. Mr. Paint Shop is also offering up to 50% off selected paint during the promotion period.
The phrase “up to” is important here because the discount will vary depending on the selected products. Not every paint product will necessarily receive a 50% reduction, so customers should check the individual promotional items and prices in-store.
Still, a discount of this size can make a difference for people who are buying paint for more than one room. A small saving on one tin may not seem like much, but the total can become more significant when several tins are required for a larger project.
This could also be a good opportunity for homeowners who have been considering a colour change but have been waiting for a suitable promotion before getting started.
Planning a Deepavali Home Refresh?
Deepavali preparations often involve more than just decorations and festive food. For some families, the weeks leading up to the celebration are also a chance to tidy up the home, rearrange rooms and make everything feel fresh for visiting family members and friends.
A fresh coat of paint can be part of that preparation.
For example, a living room with a tired or faded wall colour could benefit from a brighter shade. Bedrooms can be given a more comfortable atmosphere, while hallways, feature walls or outdoor areas may also need some attention after months of everyday use.
The Colour Splash Sale gives shoppers a reason to consider tackling those jobs during the promotional period rather than putting them off until later.
It can also be useful for people who are not planning a complete repaint. A homeowner might only need enough paint to refresh one particular wall, touch up an area or give a smaller space a new appearance. With different promotional products available, it is worth visiting the shop to see what options are available.
More Than Just the Advertised Deals
One of the interesting parts of the promotion is that the advertised offers are not necessarily the only bargains available. Mr. Paint Shop is encouraging customers to drop by participating outlets and discover more deals in-store.
That means shoppers who are already planning to buy paint may want to allow some extra time to browse rather than simply picking up the first product on their shopping list.
This can be particularly useful when working on a home improvement project because paint is rarely the only thing needed. Depending on the job, customers may also need brushes, rollers, trays and other decorating equipment.
The RM1 paint brush offer is therefore a handy addition to the main paint promotions, although the one-piece-per-customer limit should be kept in mind.
Why Should You Check Out This Deal?
The biggest reason to visit is straightforward: painting supplies can become expensive when several items are needed at once, so promotional pricing can help keep the overall project within budget.
The 18L paint from RM80 is particularly worth checking for anyone working on a larger area and who can find a suitable colour among the selected options. Meanwhile, the up-to-50%-off selected paint gives shoppers another opportunity to reduce the cost of their purchase.
There is also the convenience of having the promotion available over several weeks, from 2 October through 8 November 2026. Customers do not necessarily have to rush out on the first day, although popular products and colours may sell out earlier because the offers are stated to be available while stocks last.
For those preparing their homes for Deepavali, an earlier visit could therefore make sense. It provides more time to choose colours, purchase the necessary supplies and complete the painting work before the festive celebrations begin.
Visit the Participating Mr. Paint Shop Outlets
The Colour Splash Sale is available at participating Mr. Paint Shop outlets in Taman Sentosa, Balakong and Kapar.
Before making a special trip, customers may want to check with the relevant outlet regarding stock, colours and applicable promotional terms. This is especially important for the RM80 18L paint offer and the selected products carrying discounts of up to 50%.
As with any limited-time promotion, products are subject to availability and the advertised offers come with terms and conditions.
For anyone looking for an affordable way to give their home a new look before Deepavali, the Mr. Paint Shop Colour Splash Sale is certainly worth adding to the shopping list. Whether the plan is to repaint an entire house or simply freshen up one room, finding the right paint at a promotional price can make the project feel much more manageable.
With selected 18L paint from RM80, RM1 paint brushes and up to 50% off selected paint, this could be a useful opportunity to get the decorating supplies sorted while the promotion is running.
The key is to visit early enough to have a good selection to choose from, compare the available products and make sure the selected paint suits the intended project. After all, a fresh coat of colour can be one of the simplest ways to make a familiar space feel new again.
