Day 2: 12pm, 11th August 2024: Live Event Highlights Update:

We arrived at the event around 11:40 am, hoping to snag one of the free merchandise goodie bags filled with durian-shaped slippers, stickers, keychains, and more. The event was scheduled to start at 12 pm, so we thought we’d have a good chance. However, when we got there, we saw about 30 people already lined up, all eager durian fans.

We figured we might still have a shot at the freebie, but once we reached the counter, we learned that each MAE App user could purchase up to two sets per day. This meant some people in line were getting multiple goodie bags. Unfortunately, by the time we reached the front, all the free bags were gone.

The staff informed us that although we missed out on the goodie bags, we could still win free merchandise by participating in five games at the event. Collecting five stamps from these games would give us a chance to win a prize.

We managed to try our luck at the claw machine and even won some free goodies like coconut, durian ice cream, and more. Each customer received two tokens to play the claw machine, adding a fun element to the day.

Besides that, there were live band performances and a durian-eating competition organized by Maybank and Dking. These added to the excitement, and participants had the chance to win surprises from the organizers.
