KTMB Malaysia is having their Train tickets Half Price Discounts Promo Codes Offers & Extra RM5 Off for Senior Citizen. Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is offering a 50% discount for its Electric Train Service (ETS) for the entire month of July as a token of appreciation to its passengers.
In a statement today, Malaysia Railways announced that this promotional activity is specially developed for Malaysian citizens, aiming to provide a money-saving opportunity for the public and promote the country’s tourism industry.
The special offer applies to all ETS routes from Padang Besar to Gemas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The discounted offer is only applicable to adult tickets on specific dates, and customers can purchase tickets using the corresponding promotional code for each date.
For example, July 11th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY11); July 12th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY12); July 13th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY13); July 18th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY18).
July 19th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY19); July 20th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY20); July 25th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY25); July 26th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY26); and July 27th (Promo Code: TRAVELLOKALJULY27).
Furthermore, as a gesture of gratitude towards senior citizens, Malaysia Railways is also offering an additional discount of RM5 on all Electric Train Service fares.
According to the statement from Malaysia Railways, this promotional activity began on July 1st and can be utilized until December this year.
“During this period, Malaysia Railways is also offering a 50% ticket discount to all registered senior citizens in Malaysia through the KTMB application.”
Registered senior citizens in Malaysia only need to use the promotional code “PRIHATINEMAS” when purchasing tickets to enjoy the special offer. This promotion is applicable to all Electric Train Service routes from Batu Gajah to Kuala Lumpur on every Tuesday to Thursday.
The promotional code can be used on any ticketing platform, such as counters, the KTMB website, and the KITS application, and is only applicable to eligible users.
