How does the free birthday points work?
During your birthday month, your account will be automatically added with 118 birthday points. These birthday points can be used at any time within the 3 months validity period.
How are my points calculated for my Gong Cha purchases?
You’ll get one (1) point for every one ringgit (RM1) spent at Gong Cha outlets in Malaysia, excluding any amount spent on non-qualifying purchases. Simply present your Gong Cha Royalty Card during your purchase at the store.
When do points become available from my Gong Cha purchases?
Points from your Gong Cha purchases will appear approximately 3 days from your date of purchase.
When is my personal details updated/registered in the system?
Your personal details will be updated by Gong Cha within 2 weeks from your date of purchase. If any issue arises, please log a report by email to royaltycard@gong-cha.com.my.
Can I use my points to redeem promotional or discounted items?
No. Redemptions are only applicable for regular priced items.

What if I did not receive my birthday points?
To be entitled for the birthday points, please ensure that your details have been registered in the system. If any issue arises, please log a report by email to royaltycard@gong-cha.com.my.
Are there any privacy protection measures for my personal information submitted online?
All personal data submitted will be kept highly confidential. Your contact information may be used by Gong Cha to communicate various marketing promotions. If you lose Gong Cha Royalty Card or need to update your personal data, you will be prompted for identity verification, based on the information you submitted.
If I lose my Gong Cha Royalty Card or when it is damaged beyond normal use, how do I get a new card?
If you lose your Gong Cha Royalty Card or when it is damaged beyond normal use, you may report the loss to royaltycard@gong-cha.com.my. You may obtain a new Gong Cha RoyaltyCard at any Gong Cha outlet. You may put in a request to transfer the bonus points accumulated in the old card to the new card. If your Gong Cha Royalty Card is misappropriated by others with malicious intent before you file the loss report, Gong Cha will not be responsible for any loss of points.
If my Gong Cha Royalty Card is taken away by another person, will it be possible that he can read my personal information from the card?
No. Except for the bar code, the Gong Cha Royalty Card carries no personal information of the Card Member.
If I fail to present my Gong Cha Royalty Card but manage to provide the outlet with my card number, can I still enjoy all member-exclusive benefits and accumulate bonus points?
The Gong Cha Royalty Card is the only proof of your right to enjoy the benefits. The verification mechanism is activated once your card is swiped on our machine during the transaction process and the card number is read successfully. Please remember to bring your Gong Cha Royalty Card with you whenever you visit our outlets.
If I fail to present my Gong Cha Royalty Card at the time of purchase, can I get the points re-credited to my account by presenting the receipt at a later time?
The Gong Cha Royalty Card is the only proof of your right to enjoy the benefits. The verification mechanism is activated once your card is scanned on our machine during the transaction process and the card number is read successfully. Even if you may present your Gong Cha Royalty Card together with the receipt at a later time, we are unable to credit the points to your account for your previous purchase. Please remember to bring your Gong Cha Royalty Card with you whenever you shop at our stores to ensure that you enjoy the full benefits of being a card member at all times.
