News reports say that Kim Jong-hyun,\u00a0Shinee lead singer<\/strong><\/em>, was unconscious when taken to hospital and suggest cause of death was suicide on 18th December, where he is 27.<\/p>\n

It’s reported that Jonghyun, Shinee Lead Singer Dies<\/strong><\/em>, where he was found lying in a room with a coal briquette burning in an apartment unit at Cheongdam-dong in southern Seoul at 6PM KST<\/p>\n

Gangnam police later confirmed that the K-pop idol has passed away.\u00a0News reports also stated that Jonghyun sent his sister a suicide note<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, prompting her to call the police. The note has not been released to the public.<\/p>\n

The boyband Shinee were formed back in 2008 where it incorporatesKorean pop with the elements of western music. They went on to achieve great success, selling hundreds of thousands of albums and singles.<\/p>\n

News of Kim\u2019s death prompted a flurry of messages on social media, with many fans voicing disbelief<\/p>\n
