Macy\u2019s said the majority (not specifying on numbers) of its employees will go on furlough starting this week. Meanwhile Kohl\u2019s is furloughing about 85,000 of its approximately 122,000 employees.<\/p>\n

There are many retailer which is force to close stores to slow down the pandemic and Macy\u2019s and Kohl\u2019s are among the dozens of retailers in the U.S. All of Macy\u2019s and Kohl\u2019s stores are closed, and they have not decided when they\u2019ll be able to reopen.<\/p>\n

Like Macy\u2019s and Kohl\u2019s, many retailers have continued to sell online but without brick-and-mortar locations, though, they have lost the engine that still fuels most customer purchases.
