Sounds damn high class and never thought one of our local food got so nice name<\/p>\n<p>This great naming was given by a cooking website, where they want to take roti canai to a whole new level and making them looks very international! The roti canai is called The Asian Flat Croissant.<\/p>\n<p>Yep and yep &#8230; You didn\u2019t read that wrong. Level up for our Singaporean daily food<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5243\" src=\"https:\/\/sg.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/A583029A-C3EA-4DEB-A38A-C777DF4D4029.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"735\" height=\"1102\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But why la? Why making it sound so canggih one? Basically the Nyonya Cooking, is <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/theboyopposite\/status\/1231805212530098176\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reportedly<\/a> founded by a Malaysian which is now living in Germany. The main interest of this website is basically to shares Southeast Asian recipes so we can understand why <em>roti canai <\/em>was on its list.<\/p>\n<p>Why name it croissant? According to them, the \u2018croissant\u2019 label was meant to make the dish relatable to those who aren\u2019t familiar with it.<\/p>\n<p>So what do you think?
