Our Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad has stated that the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government would slowly abolish tolls across Malaysia in stages, as stated in their 100-day manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>However, this did not come true and most likely it is due to the country\u2019s economic situation at the time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-3895\" src=\"https:\/\/www.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/10\/toll-abolish-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"605\" height=\"437\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/10\/toll-abolish-.jpg 1000w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/10\/toll-abolish--300x217.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/10\/toll-abolish--768x554.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/10\/toll-abolish--585x422.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesundaily.my\/news\/2018\/10\/04\/toll-abolition-be-finalised-within-three-months\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Sun<\/em><\/a>, our Works Minister\u00a0Baru Bian has mentioned that the abolition of tolls could be finalised within two to three months and the ministry is currently negotiating with stakeholders in an effort to reach a solution that all parties can agree to.\u00a0 He has stated that:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We are looking for a sensible solution that will be beneficial to all stakeholders and the new government.
