The man who goes by the name Leiz had posted a listing on the Yahoo Japan Auction site. The listing was of a 1989 model of a Toyota Supra, a sports car, going for \u00a52.7 million (S$32,992). Leiz had owned the car since 1993. According to SoraNews, the Toyota Supra Model has a price around \u00a51.35 million (S$16,497). However, Leiz had priced his car higher due to its sentimental value.<\/p>\n<p>Leiz said that he did no wanted to sell his car but he had to make the hard decision to let the vehicle go in order to fund his pet&#8217;s cat medical bill, his cat named Silk was recently diagnosed with a potentially fatal viral disease of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). The veterinary bills would cost at least \u00a52 million (S$24,438), which explains why he was selling his Toyota Supra at a price higher than average.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-50465\" src=\"https:\/\/sg.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Screenshot-2021-05-20-at-1.00.05-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1089\" \/>source yahoo!japanauctionsite<\/p>\n<p>However, a buyer who lived near Leiz in Osaka contacted him and said that he was willing to purchase the car immediately for its listed price. The buyer shared that he empathised with Leiz&#8217;s situation as he is trying his best to save his pet cat. Once purchased, the buyer planned to pay for various restoration cost and even build a garage to store the car on his office property to protect the paint job from the elements.
