For pHailing related accidents, there\u2019s\u00a0<strong>1 death<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>5 light injuries<\/strong> reported in 2019. However, for 2020, they have recorded an increase with\u00a0<strong>17 deaths<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>10 serious injuries,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>64 light injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"KHIDMAT P-HAILING |\u00a0Kejar Penghantaran Sehingga Keselamatan Terabai\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/26Gw0mQ85x8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The earlier alleged two-third of motorcycle deaths involving pHailing riders is about 100x more than the actual figure provided by the police. The police have advised all parties to not issue any statements without referring to the official source released by the police department.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Wee Ka Siong has recently shared that the government is looking at having a regulatory body to <a href=\"https:\/\/soyacincau.com\/2021\/04\/19\/dr-wee-ka-siong-regulatory-body-needed-to-protect-phailing-riders\/\">protect riders<\/a>\u00a0in the pHailing industry which involves about 100,000 people.
