If you don’t know what’s RFID, here is some quick fact to let you know.<\/p>\n

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID<\/em>) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag attached to an object. A tag can be read from up to several feet away and does not need to be within direct line-of-sight of the reader to be tracked.<\/p>\n

If you didn’t know, RFID is a more advanced system compared to Touch \u2018n Go and Smart Tag. As such, motorists don\u2019t even have to slow down for the detection to take place, and the toll would be gateless as well!<\/p>\n

The plan now is that Touch ‘n Go will kick off RFID pilot in by September and it will be opening to public for testing. Then by the year 2019, it will be fully implemented and the findings from this pilot phase will help Touch \u2018n Go enhance and do any refinements to the RFID system ahead<\/p>\n

If you would like to participate in doing the testing as pilot users, you can submit your contact details to\u00a0touchngo.com.my<\/a>\u00a0to pre-register yourself as a pilot user. Once you have register, when the pilot kick-off in September, all the pre-registered users will be get an email to register their vehicles\u2019 information\u00a0and to make appointments for RFID installations through the TNG RFID Portal\u2019s appointment system.<\/p>\n
