This new rules which applies on Section 25 of the Emergency Ordinance now reads, &#8220;The director-general or any authorised officer, may &#8230; compound any offence under this Act or any regulations under this Act &#8230;(a) in the case of a person who is an individual, a sum of money not exceeding ten thousand ringgit. (b) in the case of a body corporate, a sum of money not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This section 24 states also apply for who commit an offence under the Act can be liable to a fine up to RM100,000, imprisonment for a maximum of seven years, or both.
