It has been almost close to a year since our country’s border were closed down to due to the current pandemic. As a lot of families and loved ones had to console themselves through video calls. However, the Malaysian Immigration Department has released a simple application form in case if you would like to cross the border into other countries or vice versa.<\/p>\n

The MyTravel Pass<\/h5>\n

You will require the MyTravel Pass to enter or exit the country, but application is actually quite easy.<\/p>\n

  1. Head over to their website\u00a0[HERE]<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select your category.<\/li>\n
  3. Read and understand the terms and conditions, then click proceed.<\/li>\n
  4. Fill in your personal information, then submit.<\/li>\n
  5. You will receive a notification in your email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can come back with a good reason now<\/p>\n

    Who is eligible?<\/h5>\n

    Crossing the border for travel and leisure is still not allowed though, so you must have a good reason for doing so. These are the people who can apply to cross the borders:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Legal residents of Singapore<\/strong>\u00a0who need to make single-entry trips for business and official purposes in Malaysia.<\/li>\n
    2. Malaysians<\/strong>\u00a0who want to leave the country for official, business, medical treatment, or emergency purposes.<\/li>\n
    3. Spouse or children<\/strong>\u00a0of a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident who want to return to Malaysia.<\/li>\n
    4. Foreigners or permanent residents\u00a0<\/strong>who want to enter Malaysia for official, business, medical treatment, emergency, or death-related purposes.<\/li>\n
    5. Foreign workers or domestic helpers\u00a0<\/strong>may apply for entry by their employers only.<\/li>\n
    6. Expartriates or skilled workers\u00a0<\/strong>with an active pass who exited Malaysia during the previous movement control order (MCO) and are currently stranded abroad can apply to return.<\/li>\n
    7. Those eligible with a\u00a0Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)<\/strong>\u00a0pass who exited Malaysia during the previous movement control order (MCO) and are currently stranded abroad can apply to return.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      So now if you are really looking forward to go out travelling with a certain related issue. You can basically go out but remember to be safe.<\/p>\n
