There has being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KementerianKewanganMalaysia\/photos\/a.10150865144593547.421824.369244243546\/10155799547708547\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>statement<\/em><\/a> being release from the Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia (KKM)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2071\" src=\"https:\/\/www.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/05\/gst-abolishment.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"739\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/05\/gst-abolishment.jpg 531w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/05\/gst-abolishment-216x300.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The good news announcement came shortly after Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced that he had instructed the government to stop collecting GST!! OMG &#8230; This is really coming true!<\/p>\n<p>But when will this be official? According to the\u00a0statement from KKM, the stopping of GST collection will start on <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>1 Jun 2018<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This might sounds like a good news but the government will be imposing the SST (Sales Services Tax) to replace the GST and they are still studying on how it will be implemented.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of this GST abolishment?
