The Famous PJ A&amp;W To Be Demolished and MPPJ has approved this<\/h4>\n<p>This demolition was talked for more than 3 years (since 2014) but the KUB Malaysia Bhd, which holds the A&amp;W franchise in Malaysia, was waiting for the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to approve its redevelopment plan. The plan is to build two office towers at its iconic A&amp;W restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Latest news is that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.com.my\/metro\/metro-news\/2018\/01\/29\/farewell-to-pjs-iconic-aw-outlet-mbpj-confirms-site-at-lorong-sultan-will-be-replaced-with-a-20store\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Star Online<\/a>\u00a0cited a source from MBPJ said that\u00a0MBPJ has given the green light for the A&amp;W restaurant redevelopment during the council&#8217;s One Stop Centre (OSC) committee meeting.<\/p>\n<p>This demolition plan is also confirmed by the\u00a0Bukit Gasing assemblyman R. Rajiv.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am deeply saddened that this iconic building is going to be torn down and I really wish that they didn\u2019t have to do it.\u00a0However, we also have to respect that this is a private land and the owner is allowed to develop the land in accordance with the guidelines and law,&#8221;\u00a0he was quoted as saying by The Star Online.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1452\" src=\"https:\/\/www.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/PJ-AW.jpg\" alt=\"PJ A&amp;W\" width=\"906\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/PJ-AW.jpg 906w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/PJ-AW-300x199.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/PJ-AW-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 906px) 100vw, 906px\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"segment-head\">\n<p>The plan for the A&amp;W site is to redeveloped into a building with 20 floors which inclusive of 4 storey car park.<\/p>\n<p>PJ A&amp;W will trully be missed!<\/p>\n<h4>What&#8217;s your most memorable memorie at PJ A&amp;W?
