The news is\u00a0Touch \u2018n Go Sdn Bhd has obtained approval from Bank Negara Malaysia to operate and offer mobile e-wallet services via TNG Digital Sdn Bhd. here in Malaysia!<\/p>\n<p>With this new eWallet technology, Malaysian does not need to bring any card or cash to go shopping in future but they can just make payment using their phone.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless whether it&#8217;s online shopping, bill payment, retail payments, or even P2P fund transfers, this can be done using your mobile e-Wallet<\/p>\n<p>This e-Wallet has been widely used in China (AliPay, WeChat Pay) and now the\u00a0Touch \u2019N Go is utilising this technology to give a better payment method to Malaysian.<\/p>\n<p>Now we do have Alipay e-wallet in Malaysia but it can only be used by Chinese nationals, while those with Alipay Malaysia accounts can only use it for purchases made on e-commerce site Lazada.<\/p>\n<p>With this new <em><strong>Touch N Go eWallet\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>, is basically expending this to more places to be used by Malaysian<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1197\" src=\"https:\/\/www.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-1.jpg\" alt=\"Touch N Go eWallet\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-1.jpg 1000w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-1-300x150.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-1-768x384.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So how does it works?\u00a0This new mobile e-wallet is leveraging on Ant Financial\u2019s Alipay technology platform, the world\u2019s leading digital financial services provider. In short, it&#8217;s basically using\u00a0QR codes to utilise payments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn support of the government\u2019s aspiration to accelerate the creation of a robust and secure digital payments ecosystem, we are excited to have obtained approval for this new e-wallet through our joint venture with Alipay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, Touch \u2018n Go are already the number one player in micropayments and we see this offering as an add-on as we strengthen our value proposition, moving the country and our customers further into the realm of digital payments,\u201d quoted Touch \u2018n Go chief executive officer Syahrunizam Samsudin to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nst.com.my\/business\/2018\/01\/323051\/touch-n-go-obtains-central-banks-approval-operate-e-wallet-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>NST<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1196\" src=\"https:\/\/www.everydayonsales.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-2.jpg\" alt=\"Touch N Go eWallet\" width=\"990\" height=\"521\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-2.jpg 990w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-2-300x158.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/01\/Touch-N-Go-eWallet-2-768x404.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 990px) 100vw, 990px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Currently most of the Touch &#8216;N Go\u00a0users are using it at toll, transit and parking users and they can enjoy the Touch &#8216;N Go eWalley services by sign on to this new payment system.<\/p>\n<p>This will definitely be a game changer to the payment system in Malaysia.
